This four way trade idea would be interesting... It has come to this it seems like

To Celtics: Beal
To Pelicans: Lakers (2019 1st), Zubac, Caldwell-Pope, Kuzma, Hart
To Wizards: Ball, Ingram

To Lakers: Davis, Irving

Starting
Horford
Tatum
Brown
Beal
Rozier

Off bench
Morris
Hayward
Smart

Did you look and see the return the Pels get for Davis here?

Why would they do that?

If Irving wants out

Celts offer to Pel goes down the drain

Pelicans have like 3 situations to work with

To Bucks for Middleton, Brogdon future 1st

To Knicks for 2018 1st, Kristap

To Lakers for Ball, Ingram, Kuzma

I mean the Celts can pry a 1st and incl to pel

People think this is a bad trade only bc fakers get Davis and Irving

On face value a 2 year left Beal is close to equivalent to a soon to be a UFA Irving

Just look at what the Spurs could only muster for Leonard

And where has Kyrie requested a trade out of Boston?.. Ugh nevermind..
There really is no point. Not going to have a rational clear-thinking debate

I can counter that you are biased irrational as well because for your undivided love for Irving. So much so when things have gone wrong this season everyone else is to blame. While guys like Brown, Rozier etc are the ones going to the bench, making sacrifices etc.

There are many more signs that Irving is not really content and one foot out the door vs dying to retire as a Celtic
You’re just inventing signs man. It’s painfully obvious that you just want Kyrie gone. The media guys have played you like a fiddle.

If keeping Kyrie prevents the Lakers from hitting 20 banners by 2025 then sign me up

Nope

I was all in trade for Davis for Brown, Rozier 1sts

Before understanding that it cant be done until offseason

Iam a big fan of Davis

But whats the point? Davis has a home in LA, fired his agent to join Klutch (basically ran by Lebron)... he doesnt want to come here and join his friend Irving

Instead its looking like Lebron and Davis are enticing Irving to join

Listen to Irving Simmons podcast last summer...where Irving talks about joining "guys" and playing for LA, New York. It was random but a clue that shouldnt be overlooked

Lots of folks are in denial right now

Just like the whole Fultz situation

But evidence is right in front of us

1. Irving calling Bron
2. Irving struggles with young teammates
3. Bron twitting some cryptic message for Kyrie to "return"
4. Anthony Davis making demands now vs offseason in hopes to join Irving

Until Irving comes out in the next day or two and laughs at this... then all evidence points to "truth" what Bucher tweeted

Also when has anyone seen Lebron send out a desperation/cry for help tweet like that? Its just fishy

Dude... what are you even talking about?

https://mobile.twitter.com/chris_broussard/status/1088979257026502658

I think that Tweet and opining whether Lebron would like to be a teammate or have a sexual relationship with Kyrie is a new low point for journalism. Sigh...

Mods I am almost wondering if it is possible for us to have a new category called "NBA Soap opera" added to the board where people can post theories about instagram songs sung by players and low level unsourced rumors and the like. I know I am not the only person on this board that would like to actually discuss the basketball without having to click on the new forum topics and go through pages before someone is posting an instagram song and suggesting it means a player will leave in free agency. is this something that would make sense for the board?

Whatever you think

When was the last time Lebron tweeted to Irving?

And why would he

Lebron is a snake. He doesnt care about friends etc. Only about his legacy

The guy cant stomach a down year and miss the finals

If we're taking random videos as indicators of what direction our franchise should take, why not this on?

If I'm Ainge the relationship I worry about isn't Bron and Kyrie. Its Kobe and Kyrie. I wouldn't be surprised if Kobe is behind some of this Kyrie news.

Ainge might as well negotiate with LA. Kyrie for KCP, Ball and Kuzma. Now let the Lakers figure out another way to get AD, if AD, Bron and Kyrie want to play together.

I literally have no idea what you are even proposing here? That Lebron can somehow force Ainge to trade Kyrie to the Lakers this year so he will make the finals? And he is doing this by singing him a love song on instagram?

I have no idea who Ric Bucher is, nor do I trust Bleacher Report but, since it's been a crazy enough day with unsubstantiated rumors everywhere, let's throw in one more...

"The Lakers may need to get creative to force the Pelicans' hand, but they have reason to be. While the news since last summer has been largely about stars not interested in being LeBron's sidekick—George's decision to re-sign with the Thunder, Jimmy Butler not having the Lakers on his reported preferred list and Kawhi Leonard reportedly favoring the Clippers—a source close to the Celtics confirmed that Kyrie Irving is genuinely interested in reuniting with his former Cavaliers teammate. "That is for real," the source said.

A core of James, Davis and Irving would be enough to get visions of Title 17 dancing in Lakers fans' heads."

When a media guy states this is for real

He is either a nobody or putting his neck on the line

I believe him

Trade Irving. Then trade for Beal

I would trade Irving to anywhere than Lakers. Trade him to the Clippers

Lol of course you believe it, Triboy, because it fits your narrative 🙄

Good Lord, some of you on here are just oblivious to this obvious troll game that literally happens every single year. We have it straight from the horse’s mouth on numerous occasions that Kyrie plans to resign here, but “sauces said!”. 🙄

I see Rich Paul is getting more fake news out.

Everyone remember how last season Jimmy Butler said him and his good friend Kyrie have talked about playing together and it would be great if it happened in New York.

This board went nuts and the disdain for Kyrie came out loud and strong.

Turned out Kyrie said he hadn't spoken to Butler in a long time and he is only interested in being in Boston.

Until I hear it from Kyrie, I am not buying any of these rumors. As far as he has said, over and over and over again, he will be in Boston long term.

Kyrie for KCP, Ball and Kuzma

Would the Lakers really give us all that for a scrub like Kyrie?

I was thinking Hart, Zubac and a top-55 protected #2.  Maybe if we throw in Tatum they’ll send us Moritz Wagner.

I don't know how much more he can say it. He probably feels it's not even worth dignifying such an unfounded rumor with a response. It's like a guy that keeps asking his girlfriend to tell her she loves him because the more he hears it the more he needs to hear it because he just doesn't believe her ;D

Who’s the next Lebron / LA syncophant to attempt to undermine Boston? Bill Plaschke? Ramona Shelbourne? J. A. Adande?

I am sure we're going to hear alot more nonsense.

For whatever reason, those who cover the NBA are aching for the Lakers and Knicks to be relevant again (hence all this foolishness.)

The best one I've heard is Durant going to the Knicks next season. Maybe he can make a stop to Chicago and play with Melo for a day.

"As for the notion that Irving isn’t a sure thing to re-sign anymore, reported on Monday by Yahoo! Sports, a source with knowledge of his situation said there is no reason to believe that’s the case."

Battles of the SOURCES!

Omg, who are we to believe, though?! Should we believe the reports that echo exactly what has come out of Kyrie’s mouth on multiple occasions, or should we believe the incredibly obvious and contrived anonymous “reports” that are counter to everything we’ve heard from Kyrie himself?! A true “Sophie’s choice” here! 🙄

I don’t know why, but people being this guillible is really irritating me today lol

He's going to get asked about it so he will have to say something about it.  Bucher has a little credibility at least.

No, he doesn’t; he’s a Bleacher Report hack lol
