Rondo agrees to Lakers.

Does that mean Lonzo could be dealt to the Spurs for Kawhi?

Leaves Rondo & Hart to play the PG spot, seems good enough.

Also hearing that the Pelicans are cold on DeMarcus Cousins. Boogie may have to accept a 1-year discounted deal to play w/ LAL

I’d think SA would be holding out for Ingram over Ball.

Hasn’t it been fairly well reported that SAS wants no part of the Ball mess? Can’t see them wanting to deal with Lavar. Have to think any Ball/Kawhi trade has Lonzo going to a third team.

You cant play Rondo and Ball in the same line-up, and I doubt Rondo wants to be a mentor/backup for Ball. I think Ball is gone.

I think Rondo has accepted that he is a backup point guard in the league now.

The Lakers standing offer to DeMarcus Cousins is a 1 year deal in the range of $10 million, I’m told.

oh man if they get Cousins for 10mil that is just freaking unfair.

Wow lol, huge fall from grace for Boogie if he even considers that offer... Pelicans can offer him a better contract, and they should... If they want the chance to retain Davis.

Coming off a popped ACL.  Reportedly looking at something like a February return.  $10m for a one half year to show he's ok isn't a terrible offer.

Not an ACL, an Achilles. A popped ACL would've been a better prognosis.

Yes, thanks.  I'm so used to typing ACL because they happen so often, relatively speaking,  that I didn't even double check.

Unbelievable...what a guy

joins enemy #1 and #2?

Put Rondos Celtics jersey in here....

Players are supposed to be loyal to teams that trade them too now? Yikes.

This is your binkie huh?

I hope he and his Lakers get pounded by GSW...or better yet, make it to the finals somehow and get pounded by the Celtics. What a loser Rondo is

You don't join the Lakers after wearing a Celtics jersey

No, I'm just tired of all the moaning and groaning about players not being loyal. "Oh no, Kyrie won't commit right this second." "Rondo - who hasn't been a Celtics in 4 years, signed with the enemy."

Players don't owe loyalty to anyone, not franchises and certainly not ones that traded them. This is a business. Lakers offered Rondo the most money, he took it.

Not an ACL.  An Achilles injury which is significantly worse nowadays.

It’s confirmed: RJ87 is truly Richard Jefferson, who is 87 years old.  ;D

I doubt that Cousins will really help a team win games next year as he comes back from that injury, so a 1 year $10 million deal makes sense.

He should look at it like he's being paid $10 million to rehab for a year and hopefully prove that he should make more than that in the future.

Its like a Redsox joining the Yankees and vice versa. You just don't do it

Tell that to Boggs, Damon & Ellsbury.
