Unbelievable...what a guy
joins enemy #1 and #2?
Put Rondos Celtics jersey in here....

Players are supposed to be loyal to teams that trade them too now? Yikes.
This is your binkie huh?
I hope he and his Lakers get pounded by GSW
You don't join the Lakers after wearing a Celtics jersey
No, I'm just tired of all the moaning and groaning about players not being loyal. "Oh no, Kyrie won't commit right this second." "Rondo - who hasn't been a Celtics in 4 years, signed with the enemy."
Players don't owe loyalty to anyone, not franchises and certainly not ones that traded them. This is a business. Lakers offered Rondo the most money, he took it.
Then why did Rondo go off on Ray Allen for joining the Heat?
its almost the same sheet....in some ways worst..
Its like a Redsox joining a Yankee and vice versa. You just don't do it
In an effort not to further derail the thread, this is my last response to you.
There'a lot more personal stuff in play between Rondo and Ray, and even KG and Ray. I wasn't in that locker room, but things clearly were more personal than a simple business transaction. There's layers there that we as the public will never be privy to in a completely neutral sense, no matter how many tell all books Ray writes.
With that said, what you are suggesting right now - that Rondo turn down $9m on the open market because it's the Lakers who are offering it and because he played for the Celtics 4 years ago - is silly. The Celtics aren't offering him a contract, why should he weigh what some random Celtics fan might think? Athletes have a short window to maximize their income and get the most money possible. That's just smart business.
And for the record, Ray
didn't take the most money when he went to the Heat.
Edit: Maybe if Isaiah Thomas hadn't been so loyal to the Celtics and demanded a renegotiation of his salary + an extension when he had the chance instead of letting them chase FA's, he wouldn't be in No Man's land right now.
