I'm actually more bummed about Rondo to LAL than Boogie to GSW.

GSW has always been in the driver's seat.  And frankly, they've done all the right things to deserve it.  But, somehow LAL has gathered all of the guys I'd most like to watch for a season in Rondo, Lance, KCP, McGee.  It's the All-Dysregulation Team.  And I'm not ashamed to love it.

I agree. Loved Rondo when he was a Celtic. Can't stand that he will be trying help that fake trash organization Lakers trying to win their 17th championship.

Rondo is a terrible fit next to LeBron.  They let Randle go to sign Rondo.  I didn't think it was possible for Magic to screw up an off season in which he signed LeBron James but I think he is doing it
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

If Boogie is signing for $10 million, we should sign-and-trade Morris, Nader and Yabu for him.

I know he's one your binkies, Roy, but if Danny and Co. weren't interested when he was healthy, I doubt they'll be interested in him now.

I guess we can finally agree to disagree. Regardless, of chemistry concerns, Ainge is always willing to look at possible deals to benefit the Celtics.

You could say that you were right in your original assessment that Boogie didn't get the money he was looking for. But Boogie probably just wanted to have a chance to prove he's healthy. Even though he'll probably be piggybacking off of one of the greatest stacked rosters in NBA history. Pfft once again.

Rondo is officially DEAD to me!

PS he still can't shoot.  So I don't see how this makes the Lakers better.  Neither Rondo nor Ball can shoot from distance and they are going to be the most talented guards on that roster.

Losing Randle is a low key big loss for Lakers because now they have to count on... Javale Mcgee to be their only true 5 unless you count Zubac whom I don't really rate.

I can admit I was wrong. I should've known Ainge couldn't help taking a peek at the clearance rack.

I was skeptical too. But I think we all can come to agree Ainge is very willing to explore every options and be resourceful. One of the reasons why he is the best GM in my book. I take him over any GM right now honestly.

Cheers though m8. Hopefully for our sake, Boogie isn't healthy until... 2020.  >:( >:( ::)

Lavar, Lebron, Rondo...it is going to be fun to watch.

This one's easy. This means Lonzo is on his way out of town with Ingram and a pick or something for Kawhai.

Lebron will be the LA alpha.  Lavar will probably be much quieter (his son will beg him to keep quiet so he doesn't get traded for being a nuisance via family member).  Lavar doesn't hold back but I don't think he'll confront Lebron.  In fact, we haven't heard  peep from Lavar since Lebron to Lakers came across.  Or, Lavar will keep up his diatribes and Lebron will just laugh the guy off in a way that others have failed to do successfully...

I disagree that Rondo and Lebron are a poor fit.  Lebron's life will be easier with Rondo's brain and ability to direct people and set guys up.  And Rondo will set Lebron up for easy buckets in a way that Lebron has never had before.  These are the two highest IQ guys in the league on the same team (or 2 among the highest).

So Walton gets his wish for a stifled Lavar, but also has to put aside his personal coaching vision for 3 to 4 more years.  He is now, or should be, a coach that lets Lebron and Rondo lead.  he should manage the personalities.  That's his new role for a good long while...and he should stand up to Lebron on minutes...resting/saving Lebron for when it matters and not letting Lebron overplay himself in the regular season.  Well, Walton can do his vision in practices.  But during games the vision will be blurred with lots of Rondo and Lebron self made schemes...and if Walton is a good coach he'll defer to Rondo/Lebron on a frequent basis.  Walton can plant his roots while the already developed garden runs the show...

Then, one year from now they'll sign K. Leonard.....

This will be true until he kicks out to him a few times.

Not even getting into the completely awkward and misaligned fit that all of these players have together, what in God’s name is LA doing? They’re building the All-Time Questionable Character/Personality team thus far.

What’s the over/under before there’s a locker room incident - a week into training camp??
And they want to add Kawhi and were considering Cousins.

They almost seem to be going out of their way to do it. It is incredible. Didn't Magic watch the Cavs last year? We're getting a repeat of that circus for sure.
