Dang Pels continue to fall apart..

Yeah, that's a tough loss for the Pelicans. Rondo was huge for them.

I guess they are back in the Cousins mix by renouncing Randle. If he leaves they are completely toast

They won't have the cap space necessary to offer the contract Cousins is looking for. Have to think Kawhi trade is in the mix.

What are the Lakers doing though? You're supposed to load LeBron with shooters, and they have so many inconsistent shooters like KCP, Rondo, and Stephenson.
and lonzo....at least for today.  ;D

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Why didn't LA go get Redick?

Yeah I expected Redick to end up there after Lebron signed.  It would be a decent spot for him.

Have to think a move is coming for the Lakers. This roster as constructed makes zero sense

Lakers have to at least throw Ingram, and either Kuzma or Ball in the mix, (Ball probably in the 3rd way team trade,) but the Rondo move has me scratching my head lol.

You cannot. You must wait until 60 days if it's a player for player trade.

Unless you're just salary dumping Rondo, without any players sent back, you technically can.

No. Can't trade FA signings until December.

Rondo's been flirting with the Lakers for some time. People forget he's tight with Kobe. I'm not surprised it finally happened.

Gotta think this won't make Anthony Davis happy in NO though....

FA cannot be moved for 60 but this opens up the door for any returning players to be dealt for Leonard

He's backing up Ball? Or Ball is going in a Kawhi trade.

Pop would jump off a bridge into a dry riverbed if the Balls move the circus to Texas.

If you'd seen the water in the San Antonio riverwalk, you'd look for a dry riverbed too.

Lebron said he want to play with smart players.  Rondo is at the top of that list but Lance???
Playoff Rondo showing up certainly helped financially to go from 3M to 9M in a very tight cap space market.

Trade Ball somewhere for a pick, or picks, to add to the Leonard deal.  Then you can offer the picks along with some young talent for Leonard.

Not even getting into the completely awkward and misaligned fit that all of these players have together, what in God’s name is LA doing? They’re building the All-Time Questionable Character/Personality team thus far.

What’s the over/under before there’s a locker room incident - a week into training camp??

Hmmm, Ball and Ingram for Leonard

Rondo
Leonard
Lebron
Cousins
Kuzma

Pretty, Pretty Good :)

Let their be blood in the West..I will only worry about who we face in the Finals- A part of me wants Lebron to go down on the biggest stage of all vs. our team!

SA would be idiots to take that deal. Plus, there is no way Pop is trading him in the West.
