According to a source Pelicans Coaching Staff along with others in The Pelicans Organization are pushing GM Dell Demps to accept The Lakers offer. Coaching staff likes what it sees in Lonzo Ball & Brandon Ingram.

Even if true, ownership isn’t signing off on a deal. Alvin Gentry is getting fired in the off-season.

So many Toronto fans on here. Or at least fans that think like Raptor fans.

Once Kawhi/davis is traded here he will love it. And we can also offer Kawhi/davis more money.

Its funny to me how many were against trading for Kawhi knowing he would leave in free agency, but not against Davis....who is becoming Lebrons puppet.

Is it because it has been a 3 year pipedream?

No it’s because Kyrie is AD’s best buddy in the whole league. Things change quickly, let’s see how the narrative changes after the deadline.

i seen several posts that insinuated Wjo is a paid crony of Danny 's .

Head scratching stuff ...

I want some of the stuff in their pipe

LOL it actually seemed like that to me too.  Woj was the only guy not putting out Rich Paul's crap and everything he put out was seemingly pro C's assets, or encouraged AD that DA wants him or encouraged NO to wait.  Maybe Woj earned himself a few favors?

Count this among the risks for the Pelicans to wait until the summer to deal Anthony Davis - random injuries happen. Wall’s injury is particularly unusual/severe but guys can get hurt while just working out or at home. Could be AD, could be the player you’re waiting to trade for. …

Bizarre - fluke injuries happen so it's better to lock in the deal beforehand than be able to bail on them afterward? Hey you'd better snap up Brandon Ingram right now, or you'll be sorry if a piano falls on him in May.

I think it's "if you don't take the Lakers deal now, what happens if Tatum gets injured? Then that previous deal may not be there" type of thing...

Agreed, but it's stupid logic.  What if Kuzma/Ingram is the one who gets the freak injury?  I don't see her clamoring for NO to hold firm because that could happen.

Not sure if this was already posted, but this is fun.

Windhorst: Pelicans Sabotaged Lakers on Anthony Davis Trade as Tampering Payback

man that is funny if true.  I mean really funny.

I love it. It's perfect. Especially if the Lakers wind up looking disjointed for the rest of the year and miss the playoffs.

Lakers fired Mitch ...family feud
Let Magic in , no patience , low business IQ
Lets a Local yocal blow hard talk him into picking His son
Trades off their best draft pick Russell
New Nothing about building a team of youth
Panic ....we have to win now
Who let Bron and Korrupt Sports in
Let the Fox in the hen house so to speak . To undo what Luke had been able to go forward .

So lets fire Luke , to be the scape goat .   Pat LeBum and Magic on the back as hero s .   Le Bum is never called out for his scorched earth of NBA teams

You 've done a fine job Magic Johnson .

Al Horford on Get Up just now in an interview said Anthony Davis is the most difficult player for him to defend.  The courtship begins.   :)

Yes, the only player on our team that can defend Davis reasonably well is Marcus Smart, LOL.

Question: If we trade for Davis this summer, are we going to be spending a year listening to rumors, conjecture, etc. in the media and from his agent (I consider them one and the same.) about what he's going to do in the summer of 2020? That just can't be good for team morale and I don't want it dominating the entire season.

Or maybe we're more like OKC fans with Paul George?

Also, we have 1, 095, 864 wing options. We are short on legit big options like AD. Significant difference there, as AD would fit our team needs much more than Kawhi.
