The list is intentional to try to freak the Pelicans out and make a deal now. This is funny.

If NO deals now, Demps should be fired ASAP. Would be a panic trade getting junk in return.

Trade Kyrie for DeAndre Jordan? LOL

You want to trade a top 10 talent for an old fashion center that few teams want to invest in or grow with?

honestly I would be just as happy if something happened today, so that Danny can re-adjust and make some necessary changes to keep Kyrie now.

The Lakers have offered a new package to New Orleans that includes multiple young players, multiple draft picks and Pelicans salary cap relief for Anthony Davis, league sources tell ESPN. The offer appears to move closer to the objectives that the Pelicans are pursuing in a deal.

Only thing i fear is if NO trades now and then Kyrie walks because he isn't coming to Boston.

Boston would then be stuck with Rozier starting and a ton of picks that translate into a super super young team.

I know it's not a great deal but if Kyrie wants to go there🤷🏾‍♂️. His list of team...Knicks, Lakers, Clippers and Bucks.

None of these teams have done anything in the playoffs in the last 5-10 years. Geez The Clippers with West is a good possibility.

Agreed. If NOP liked the Lakers offer they'd have done the deal by now.

But who knows, maybe they actually like the Lakers package but Magic/Pelinka have been low-balling aggressively so this process is necessary to get the full offer.

All the NBA reporters I trust do not believe this to be the case but we shall see.

This is what the LA Times reported was requested by the Pels.  Maybe they want to find out from Danny if he will be able to beat that offer, and with what?  If Danny blinks, looks like the Lakers will win Davis. Shucks. Does Danny tell Kyrie, yo, before I agree to a great package to NO, will you promise, no matter what, to stay in Boston if I get Davis??

AD wants out before the trade deadline.

Boston is the one team that can't trade for him before the deadline.

So until the trade deadline is past, AD will not say anything nice about Boston, and AD's reps will do everything they can to discourage the Pelicans entertaining Boston's offer.

Pretty simple. Let's see what his list is after the deadline. 4 more days.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Kyrie has not issued a list of teams he wants to go to.

In fact, Kyrie has not said he wants to leave.

If Kyrie has told Ainge he will not re-sign long term with the Celts then Ainge might trade him this week.
But if Kyrie isn't traded on or before Feb. 7, you know Ainge is confident Kyrie will re-sign with the Celts this summer.

NO wants someone to take back Holliday's contract. This is a salary dump also for them. My guess is the young players are Ball, Kuzma and Zubac. Not sure what picks they can give them.

There is nothing danny can really promise right now that holds any weight  this summer.   The celtics are screwed until the deadline passes.

I assume the Pelicans have already asked this of Danny.

I don't think Ainge will get out bid here, more a matter of NoP crumbles to Klutch/Lakers pressure.
