I'm on board with this. Ainge should not trade for this guy if he's going to these kind of lengths to avoid being traded to Boston. I'd much rather roll the dice with Brown and Tatum rather than 1 year of AD. Davis is a great player but i personally would much rather have Durant anyway.

Lol I literally called this back last week. More smokescreens meant to discourage NOLA from waiting on Boston’s trade this summer.

So ridiculous. In what world would AD not re-sign with Boston, as Kyrie is 100% to re-sign if we land AD and we’d clearly give him the best chance of winning both short- and long-term. Yeah, he’d choose freaking Milwaukee over Boston. Notice that the list of teams includes only teams that can’t compete with LA’s offer before the deadline. So ridiculous and obviously more Klutch propaganda.  ::)

How does this work though?  GM's talk to each other.  Demps has had conversations with Ainge and knows his thinking.  How does a tweet have any kind of influence over the Pelicans?  Ainge must have told him he doesn't need any kind of commitment prior to making a trade (if this is in fact the case)

The Bucks are one of the teams on his list. You've got to be kidding me. LOL
you mean the best team in the league that has the likely MVP who just turned 24 and is signed for multiple years
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

AD wants out before the trade deadline.

Boston is the one team that can't trade for him before the deadline.

So until the trade deadline is past, AD will not say anything nice about Boston, and AD's reps will do everything they can to discourage the Pelicans entertaining Boston's offer.

Pretty simple. Let's see what his list is after the deadline. 4 more days.
I don't think AD said anything about anyone.

Fair. But right now the strategy for AD's camp (to get him out from NOLA and playing for someone else) is to imply that Boston has no chance to re-sign him.

If there was this noise after July 1st, I'd be more worried about him being a rental. As it stands now, it's just good strategy to allow AD to play meaningful minutes somewhere not NOLA. He doesn't want to lose half a season and a playoff run. I don't blame him at all.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Everything changes come Thursday. Lakers lose any bargaining advantage. And they get their arses beat that night in the Garden.

Nah, it will just be a new set of rumors/over-analysis.

Did you see the way Kyrie and LeBron embraced before/after the game?

LeBron and Kyrie were spotted having dinner together after the game.

Kyrie to the Lakers rumors reignited!

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Woj Bomb just came out that says that the Lakers & Pelicans have talked multiple times today and Lakers have "upped" the anti. Sounds like the Pelicans against all of the experts recommendations may just make a deal with Lakers. Unreal and very short-sighted. Can't say that I am real upset about it but I hope that doesn't mean that Kyrie leaves next.

I will say, I’m about ready to wash my hands of the whole Ad situation and hope he is traded elsewhere. Not because I believe any of these leaks, but rather because I DON’T believe any of these leaks. This is all Klutch propaganda meant to get AD to LA, and I’m not sure that I want Rich Paul anywhere near the Celtics. He’s a circus distraction that we don’t need.

My feelings also...but the one thing that causes pause is if Kyrie will stay no matter what happens with AD.

It's just gonna be rumors about whether Davis is planning to sign an extension elsewhere or walk in 2020, should he still remain in Pelicans jersey after Feb 7. And knowing Klutch/Paul, they'll blow it up again saying Davis WON'T sign an extension with Boston.

How well the Celts perform in the playoffs determines Kyrie's future IMO.

If the Celts reach the Finals this year, I'm sure Kyrie will be back.

The question is, if the Celts don't reach the Finals, will Kyrie return hoping the Celts will be better next season?

Trade Kyrie for DeAndre Jordan? LOL

You want to trade a top 10 talent for an old fashion center that few teams want to invest in or grow with?
Remember the old days prior to warriors ball and the saying :
never trade a big guy for a point guard! Lol

I still think we have the most talent of any team not named the Warriors this season, and we might have more talent next year than the Warriors (even if they keep Durant). Kyrie's not leaving that. IF Davis doesn't want to join the Cs, then we say, "Have fun on vacation in June."

To me it seems like LeBron is trying to twist magic hands and force him to trade all assets for Davis ... I think magic was reluctant to do that for Paul George ... remember when he forced the cavs to trade 2 first round picks for Mozgov ... :) lol
