If Boston passes on Fultz..feels like they are going all in with resigning IT. I understand the glut of guards on the team..but Josh Jackson?

Ainge just ****ed up bigtime. Make no mistake about it. Especially with this kid in the same division he's gonna terrorize the Celtics for years. Make us wish we kept him n the pick. Plain stupidity
Can you not use past tense for something that hasn't happened yet?
Oh it's happening. Philly will fall in love with him maybe take off a protection and it's done. This is Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ed.

According to some folks over at LibertyBallers, it's been leaked from some Philly site that this was just the initial offer from Philly.

Would have to guess that Danny is asking for way more throughout the negotiations.

If Woj is correct about the expected return for the #1, I am a little disappointed and a little confused.  The trade would seem to me to be a no-brainer from Philly's perspective.  Getting a star-potential guard with length and great offensive skills gives them an absolutely amazing (potential) future core of Embiid, Simmons, Fultz, Saric and Okafur -- all 23 or under.  They have 2 years before they need to worry about adding salary for this core and can use these rookie contract years to add veteran FAs.  It is a gold mine opportunity to build a powerhouse team for the next 10 years -- as good an opportunity to build a possible dynasty as a basketball team from Philadelphia will ever get.  Adding Fultz to this mix while keeping their own 2018 and Sac's 2019 is an easy decision, IMO.   I would think Ainge would push to get Sac '19 along with LAL '18.  Or, make an exchange in the C's favor that may make sense for both sides (e.g. Saric for Rozier).   Perhaps offer up Clips or Memphis pick in order to get Sac '19 or Philly '18.

To Philly, Fultz is a perfect "bird in the hand" -- way more valuable than unknown future picks even though the future picks may turn out to be valuable (I have to believe that Philly expects to contend for a playoff berth this year making their '18 pick very expendable).   Please explain why Ainge would not shoot for the moon when Philly HAS to be salivating to get their hands on Fultz.  Maybe you see the Woj report as "shooting for the moon" but I see it as a no-brainer for Philly and a Well...Maybe for Boston.

Lol at okafor

Not bad for your 5th best player under 23.  Maybe Stauskis or Holmes are better (and also 23 or under)?   But you are entitled to your opinion.  And don't lose the premise -- they are loaded with young talent and picks still to come.

#Lakers can screws things up by drafting Josh Jackson. That's why word out of Boston is #Celtics want to wait until draft night.

It could have a 99% chance of happening and it still would he wrong and dumb to talk about it in the past tense.

So it sounds like Boston takes Fultz #1...they wait on the Lakers at 2..Lakers take Jackson, the deal is dead. Sixers take jackson at 3 and send him to Boston

I'd rather the 19 Kings pick than the 18 Lakers.

But it'd be better to just demand both.

Apparently Fultz shot 4-18 on three-pointers in his 76ers workout.

I hope that's ignited Danny's interest!

Apparently Fultz blew the 76ers workout lol He went 4-18 in around the world and pretty much everyone is reporting that he didn't look all that good at all. Says he looked tired after everything today.

Fultz looked tired and could have been pressing a little bit.... This was a tough day for him to drive up and work out at the last minute.

Just watched Fultz shoot 4 for 18 on open 3's during his Sixers workout. Seems nervous. For comparison here's Jimmer

Yep! Ainge just called the Sixers and cancelled the deal, LOL.

He's like, I thought Jackson's shot was rough, but [dang], Fultz is legit! A true Celtic!

Unreal.

That's hilarious.

4/18 is straight up bad. I can do that.

Not with an NBA staff watching me, but give me 20 minutes to warm up and the high school three point line and I can knock down  22% of my triples. Lol

My guess is Fultz is not as mentally tough as guys like Jaylen Brown and Josh Jackson, and the pressure now of possibly not being picked #1 got to him in this workout tonight. He never really faced any pressure in college.
