Man, this feels like the Sebastian Telfair Draft Day garbage.

Wyc should VETO this deal...We're gonna be the Portland Trailblazers passing on Jordan and Durant.

Eh, that trade was fine. Dumping the final year of Lafrentz' contract for Theo Ratfliff's shorter deal is what allowed Boston to trade for Garnett. They don't have the 2008 title if they sit tight on draft night 2006.

I'm pretty sure the Twolves would have accepted Brandon Roy and Raef over Ratliff, and maybe we could have kept another asset.

Like Ryan Gomes? Roy was known to have structurally deficient knees on draft night, such that (correct) fears that his career would be cut short caused him to fall as far as he did. He had a nice couple years, but the guy was basically done as an NBA player by the end of his rookie contract.

Yo dude no need for insults.  That's bad form.  This is a forum for fellow Celtics fans to discuss their ideas.  Don't get personal.

As for what I would ask for if I were Danny?  The moon.

Sixers #3 1st round pick in the 2017 draft, the Lakers 1st round 2018 pick, a pick swap of the Celtics 2018 1st round pick with the Sixers 1st round 2018 pick, and the Sixers 1st round 2019 pick.

And this trade is conditional on Jackson making it to #3.

For me that's what it would take.  I bet a lot of you would say that's a lot to ask.  But it should take a lot.  See the Penny Hardaway trade.

Please take my TP.

This HAS to be the trade. We need to have a contingent, and that's Josh Jackson being available at the #3 spot. If that isn't going to materialize, we will get stuck with the best prospect in the draft, either way, we win.

Wouldn't consider trading down with the Sixers unless they give us at least #3 + LA 2018 + Sac 2019. Even then I'm not 100% sure I would do it.

Well, I couldn't care less about Jackson. I think he ends up being a bust.

Just bear in mind these leaks will all be coming from the Philly side. There's no reason for Ainge to leak here. Philly will not be leaking their max price, that would be silly. So if there is any truth to this then expect it to be better than reported. More seems to be added to the package each day

I'd rather take Tatum. I really don't think Danny is locked in on Jackson.

Any word on how Lonzo 2nd workout went?   Lavar was allowed to be there this time lol

I read somewhere that apparently Lonzo plays or performs better when Lavar is present  ( like at games)

Maybe Lonzo get an azz whopping if he screws up  ;D

or his dad really brings out the best in him

I hope he nailed the 2nd workout and has received a "promise" .... so everything worksout between celtics and 76ers

Most reports suggest his goal is Jackson. No one mentions Tatum. Jackson plays the game on a higher level. Tatum stands around too much.

I don't know Danny could be blowing smoke.
