Would Philly do it?
I would if it was offered, I think Jackson is the best player in this draft and Saric fills our biggest hole.

I just lost my high after considering that. No way I am trading the number 1 pick. We have the chance at a generational talent in Fultz and have been waiting for a 1st pick for a lifetime!

.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I like Saric, but no.

Fultz is a potential generational talent. Thinking anything other than getting him in here asap is thinking too hard. The overall talent on our roster skyrockets the instant we take him.

No chance in hell I do this.

I can't see how Jackson (who looks like Aaron Gordon 2.0) could possibly be the best player in this draft.

I would consider trading down to #3 with Philly, but I wouldn't do it for any less then Simmons.  Offer us #3 and Simmons, and you can have that star PG you so desperately need.

Then Philly can move forward a great young core of Fultz / Saric / Okafor / Embiid and Boston can move forward with Tatum and Simmons as our future starters at SF / PF.

Anything less then that and I would say forget it.

Saric is a tweener.

He would fit in with the Boston "tweener" Celtics squad then

Not even close. The only ones I'd trade the pick for are Simmons and Porzingis. I still think Philly would be smart to make that trade and would be an excellent trade for both teams, as long as Simmons is fully healthy. Adding Fultz and Jackson (who I assume they'd take at 3) would give them a really formidable lineup of Fultz, Jackson, Covington, Saric, and Embiid. That has the potential to be a devastating two-way force down the line.

For us, Simmons fits perfectly at the 4 for us.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

He's not a good tweener though. Don't think he'll ever be a good defender. He might be a nice role player.

Well this is the first of "the 3rd and ..."  suggestions.  Not sure if there is anyone that's worth it.

If I knew more about Simmons, maybe #3 and him???
