We didn't win the lottery to give away the franchise player for depth. All signs point to Celtics loving fultz
agree. I think Fultz has more upside than Jaylen Brown. He's a much better shooter and at least as athletic.

If our fortunes had reversed in the lotto, would you have been willing to give up #3 + Marcus Smart to Philly for #1?

We don't even have to do this as a hypothetical. Just look up posts from this time last year.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Despite the fact I would strongly disagree, I think most Sixers fans would say a more fair comparison would be Jaylen Brown + #3 for #1.

I'd imagine their argument would be that Saric had the better rookie season.

Fultz will be better than Brown but he's nowhere near as athletic.

First for the 3rd and an upside player?  Sounds like a trade Red would make.

If that is truly the case Sixer fans are deluded because all that losing rotted their brains. He's not even in Brown's stratosphere.

Saric's rookie season was actually worse than KOs when you look at the Per 100 numbers and they were the same age. So what's the huge upside here?
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

A good comparison for Brown+3rd pick for first is Simmons+3rd pick for first. >:(
