Any chance this happens?
3-Way Trade with Cleveland and Sacramento:
BOS Receives:
C/F DeMarcus Cousins
2016 SAC 1st Round Pick (#8)
CLE Receives:
C/F Jared Sullinger (Sign and Trade)
2016 DAL 1st Round Pick (#16)
2016 BOS 2nd Round Pick (#45)
SAC Receives:
2016 BKN 1st Round Pick (#1-5)
F Kevin Love
Why would Cleveland do that? They can get much better value for Love than that.
Revised**
Now I think Sacramento isn't getting nearly enough. The best center in the league (24 year old no less) AND the 8th overall pick for Love and a 1-3 in a "weak draft".
However this does help cleveland a bit. Sully is like a poor man's love, but those picks aren't bad. Maybe throw them a few more 2nds and it's semi realistic. Might have to include one of the young guys.
They're getting one of the top PF's in the game and a lottery pick, CLE might have to throw another body their way, but SAC will have some space to work with.
I think Sullinger could be an asset to CLE. They get a very good rebounder to pair with Thompson, I was thinking of sending Crowder their way and James would move to the 4 and CLE would play small ball.
you can't do that trade until after the draft so none of the teams get to pick the player they want. Plus it is a terrible trade for everyone not named Boston.
Looks like we are on the same page lol
I do think a trade could work for all 3 teams. Something like this makes some sense (with Cousins still coming to Boston, though I think the trade with those three teams that makes even more sense would have Cousins going to Cleveland and Love coming to Boston).
Boston - Cousins
Sacto - Love, Dal 1st, Phi 2nd
Cleve - Crowder, Smart, Jerebko, Bos 1st
This one I think makes even more sense
Boston - Love
Sacto - Smart, Johnson, Kaun, Bos 1st, BKN 2017, return Sacto 1st (from Cle)
Cleve - Cousins
