God this is a nail biter  as well. Suns up by 3 with 30 seconds left.
Lakers are doing everything they can do give this one away.

Suns win.
Devin Booker is a stud. Cold blooded.
Suns tied up with Brooklyn again at 19 wins.

Great Suns win! But we really need the Suns to win the next Lakers game in a few days too...

I think the Nets finish with 22 to 23 wins, so we need the Suns to really take advantage of their next few games to have a chance at 3rd worst... but at least now it's a possibility!

Looking at their remaining games, Suns have 6 winnable games left, and the Nets have arguably 2. Considering that they are tied right now in wins, chances are that the nets end the season third worst. 538 also thinks so.

Looks like Brooklyn is resting Lopez tonight against Detroit.  Should be an easy win for Detroit at home.

Lopez is apparently out due to a virus, not for rest.

Stanley Johnson has been huge for Detroit.  His stats don't jump off the page but he's been everywhere.  I'll go out on a limb and say that he'll be a better player than Drummond in a few years.

If Detroit wins, they can thank Johnson and Tolliver.

Keep in mind Detroit had a game vs Sacto last night and BRK had the night off.
Very good night for us to have Lopez out.

Everything's comin' up green baby.

Detroit has just outscored the Nets 21 to 6 in the 4th quarter with 6 minutes left (up by 15).

Won't count Nets out just yet, but it looks like the tougher game tonight from the C's perspective will be Utah in Chicago.   Bulls up 10 at the half.

Brooklyn are tied for the second hardest schedule remaining of any Eastern conference team with an average opponent win percentage of 53%. Phoenix have the second easiest schedule of any Western team with an average opponent win percentage of 45%.

I think they'll finish 3rd worst.

plus, phoenix has 2 more of their games against losing clubs than does brooklyn. plus, phoenix is playing better basketball over the past 10 games.

last 10:
phoenix 4-6
brooklyn 2-8

and just to combine this thead with the dallas thread, dallas is in free fall (3-7 over last 10 games) and is 1/2 game ahead of utah. if utah passes dallas, the mavs drop to 12 place in the draft.

this could get interesting.  ;D

With Knight back, Phoenix looks normal again. This is good. Hope Lopez and Young rest more.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about
