Your post is ridiculous.
Yes I rather listen to scouts
not some guy like you who says Marcus Smart has "SOUL" lol
and also saying that Ray , Pierce, Garnett, learned that later in their careers...3 HOF players your talking about
your delusional. You have to be.
First off, Im not sure if you can interpret words successfully. So you should re read my post. Im just saying that what scouts say about a guy in his current state is not all he will ever become. I don't think i need to quantify that. I'm almost sure that, if you follow sports, you are familiar with plenty of examples.
Secondly, how many championships/playoff series did any of those guys win before coming here? I can count on one hand, the same hand would have zero rings on it.
Your saying something so simple, their is no reason to even talk about it. Of course players can change or players can do different things.
If you read my point, its about what type of players they are, the scouts do a good job because they follow these guys more than we do.
So you read the reports, watch some highlights, you put aside that they can score points because it means nothing until they can do it in the nba
but what you do watch is their physical abilities as well as mental IQ ,
driving to the basket, knowing when to pass, penetration , decision making, mobility , handling the ball, finishing at the rim
That is how you can start making essesmenets, and Elfrid has been really impressive, and if you watch the 4th quarter of tonight's game you can see an example..
I never said he will be better, or that Smart won't change his game, but I am saying purely as who I would chose and why,,, and that is Elfrid.
If Smart can change into a pure point with great decision making than I might give a shot to smart to play starting point
but their is noooooo wayyyyyy, I would start Smart over Elfrid at the point guard position.
