Who do you like at six?

i picked Dario Saric because I think his skill level is right there with the best of them, but the more I read about Aaron Gordon, and the more I watch his DraftExpress video package, I'm loving him more and more.

I think he's going to be a 6'9" Andre Igoudala. He's not the guy who you should build around, but I think he's going to be one of those ULTIMATE glue guys that will do everything else on the court.

I want that.

I'd take Smart.  But I think Ainge picks Saric.

Saric is a high risk, high reward draft pick.  Ainge loves to take those risks.  Since you can't scout Saric with the rest of the NCAA players, who knows if he's better than all the rest.  Ainge likes to roll the dice and I believe he does it with Saric and his game.

Also the fact that Saric hasn't been linked to Ainge recently, I think is a bit of a reveal. Maybe he trades down.

You know what? I'd buy that. Danny always, always drafts the guy I never consider. It's almost laughable how that works every year. Rondo, Giddens, Melo, Olynyk, the list goes on.

So yeah, with as little thought I've given Saric, I wouldn't be at all surprised to trade down for him.

Well, I think if Danny wanted Saric and really had his heart set on him, it would make sense to see if a lower pick team wanted to move up. Getting an additional asset wouldn't be so bad. Future first maybe? Not that we need more though.
