I will be very happy if we end up with Marcus Smart-- more so, in fact than I'd be with either Wiggins or Parker. He has a similar game as Dwade. What he brings to the table:
-Elite defensive instincts and anticipation. He's a lockdown defender one-one-one at either guard position, and he also is an incredibly disruptive help defender.
-Great ability to get to the rim using strength and speed. Presents a mismatch for many guards due to his large frame; in college, he was often defended by forwards. Knows how to use his frame to draw fouls in the paint.
-Really nice post up game to further punish smaller guards
-Fiery leadership and competitiveness.
Smart's shot is his only weakness, but fortunately, shooting is one of the most readily improvable skills in the sense that lots of below average shooters in college become average shooters in the NBA. His PG skills aren't quite a strength but they aren't a weakness, either.
