Green and Bass to Charlotte for the Detroit pick.

This could be interesting, a Kemba, Henderson, Green, Bass and Big Al starting 5 could be a tough out in the playoffs

I'll predict the Celtics do a deal that does not bring back a first-round pick.

I hope we aren't that desperate yet. .......but I wouldn't be shocked it diid happen either

Want Wallace to disappear .......without Rondo attached

Would help subdue Atlanta and Brooklyn as well, improving our pick.

I predict this is a total fantasy.

Actually, no need for the prediction part... this is a total fantasy.

Defensively, they may struggle. Green might be the best defender in that lineup

I've heard good things about the Bobcats' defense, even with Big Al right now.

what seems to be the only certainty is Bass is gone. Danny needs to clear room for Olynyk to play.  That is for sure.

Everything else is up in the air. Rumors are rumors.

Some of you guys... less whining and more predictions please.  I don't care if you like or dislike someone's prediction.  Just make your own.

Anything can happen next week.  Everything is on the table.  Not a single player/asset is untouchable.   Make a guess as to what will happen.  I've already tossed out my crazy Rondo/Green/Wallace to the Charlotte Hornets trade that has absolutely no basis in any existing rumor.  That's just my wild guess.

What's so ridiculous about it?

What's the comp under the current CBA for taking this much salary for marginal talent, and getting a lottery pick back? It doesn't exist.

I've posted this deal with a lesser pick (Green + Bass for Gordon + Taylor or POR 1st) before, and been panned for how bad it is for the Cs, but the fact is if you want a good pick + expirings, you need a better offering than Green or Bass. Trying to trade both at once makes it worse not better.

MAN is it hard to post to this blog from an iPhone.

Maybe Humphries is traded, but probably not.

My guess is that nothing happens. I think it is more likely that the Cs stand pat until the draft, or even the offseason (when Wallace and Bass and Green all have very attractive contracts).
Wallace doesn't expire until 2016.  He's not an attractive contract until February 2016.  Same with Green, actually.  Bass becomes an "attractive" contract a year from now.
Exactly, on Wallace.  As Green has a player option on 15-16 that he'll opt in for, he's likely not all that "attractive" either, unless you were taking back an even longer contract.  Bass, otoh, with his more reasonably priced contract that expires at the end of next year, is a better candidate to be moved either at this deadline or in the summer.

I could see Ainge moving Bradley.  If Bradley thinks he will be getting 8M this summer, Ainge should move him now.  No way he deserves that.

As to a guess as to who gets moved... that's hard.  I'd love for him to move two of Bass, Hump, Green, just to have a much better likelihood of a top 5 pick, but that's maybe too tall an order.  I guess most likely Bass, and maybe, just maybe, Hump too with his expiring contract.  I don't see Green going anywhere, unless Danny were to take back an even worse (longer) contract, which I don't think he'll do.

I meant to say "more attractive" not "attractive".

Also good point about AB. Though His injury makes it less likely.
Celtics fan for life.
