I am just catching up on the big duke Kansas game.

Wow! What a draft class this will be! Wiggins, Parker and Randle are the real deal. Any of them are worthy of being a number 1 overall pick. What talent, height, speed, instincts.

I am also becoming intrigued with Joel Embiid. What a frame and agility!  I would not be sad about drafting him in the 4-7 range.

Also i think it is important to note that wiggins athletic game is better suited to the pros over college. In the pros he will have more room to operate. He has so much Tracy Mcgrady to his game.

Does he look like he's half asleep on the floor?

Haha. He has that long skinny frame, handle, shooting range, devastating open floor game, decent fundamentals for a freshman and so on. Tracy Mcgrady also was a little passive as a teenager at times.

Rudy gay shot 10-30 or something the other night. And he is better than green?  In general he is one the most overrated/overpaid players in the league

Randle is the type of player I just don't see succeeding at the next level. He gives me a Michael Beasley/Derrick Williams vibe, where he's going to dominate the hell out of college basketball, but never be a strong NBA player. He might not be as bad as them, but I wouldn't touch him at the top of the draft.

Wiggins is incredibly gifted, and I still think he's the clear top pick in this draft. When the knock on a player is that he doesn't seem to be trying, more often than not the player just makes everything look easy. The sequence toward the end of the game last night where he hit the shot, then slammed it down after the steal was something special. When he broke down court, nobody was going to stop him, even Parker.

I see more guard skills in randle. He looks like Antoine walker or billy Owens, but with the inside scoring determination that you wished other versatile big guys like that had. He has a great feel for the game already.

Randle = webber

I wasn't aware Randle could pass the ball or run the break in a Webber-like fashion.

Randle can probably handle the ball like webber but I dont think he is his level as a passer.

He appears very comfortable pulling down a rebound and pushing the ball up the floor himself. Early on he has been turnover prone but he is a freshman adjusting to the college pace.

My best case player comps

Randle = 6'9 Paul Milsap

Parker = Glen Rice

Wiggins = slightly smaller McGrady
Mavs
Wiz
Hornet

here are my comps -

Randle - More athletic Zach Randolph

Parker - Carmelo Anthony but a better passer and step down as a scorer

Wiggins - 6'8 Dwayne Wade - He is going to score a lot on put backs, and posting up littler guards.

Wiggins isn't the same body type of Lebron .   LeBron is larger boned , he built like a NFL player and somewhat reminds me of Larwence Taylor .   Like LT ,  LeBron is a freaky size , speed , and strength all in one .   Michael Vick like.

Wiggins reminds me of Penny Hardaway

If Wiggins really is the second coming of McGrady/Hardaway I will personally keep Rajon Rondo out all year by distracting him with delicious snacks and candies and games of connect four.

That sounds like T-Mac.

Exactly.  T-Mac is who I have thought of.  He has that wiry length and explosiveness.

Ahhhhhhh.

Tracy McGrady, when he was healthy, was one of the best players to watch play basketball ever.

Reading this makes it very hard to be not want us to end up with him after the draft.

he has the wiry frame of McGrady but I don't think he will score like him.  Body like Mcgrady but his playing style is more inline with Wade, for the damage he does in the paint...

Whew let's hope that's not at all he is.

Already looks to be a better athlete.

Randle did a lot of what he did against double teams.  I think he is the most NBA ready of these three.   Wiggins athletic leaping is off the charts though.
