why do people love Jeff Green?  Wiggins is 6'8 with a 6'11 wing span.  He is already quicker, faster and a better leaper than Jeff Green and he is 18 years old.  Wait until the combine, Wiggins will break records, he is a once in a generation type of athlete.  Like the other guy said, they are saying his second jump is the best some scouts have ever seen...

So what if it is?? He is a sf. Not that great of a rebounder either. The second jump is mainly useful for rebounding, tip ins. And that is something that is not part of his arsenal

Jeff green is a better passer and shooter right now. Wiggins def has adv of being younger. And both are naturally passive guys

Jeff Green is a better basketball player in 2013.

But are you so confident he'll be better in 2014? What about 2015?

Wiggins has MVP/all-nba type talent, do you think Jeff Green is making an all-star or all-nba team soon?

Yes i do. Maybe not the all star game bc that is mainly about hype but nba third team is not out of the question.

Wiggins is no lebron. Ppl have to be realistic. Lebron can kill u by his passing alone. Wiggins cant. Wiggins is athletic but is no jordan (only one will exist).

IF wiggins had parkers skillset/aggression, def would be the next coming.

Parker will always be second, because he plays for Duke.

Not around these parts.

Some draft site compared him to Paul Pierce, that´s like being given a knighthood.

I can see the comparisons, but I fall firmly on the UNC side of the line, so Parker's college career is something I'll look at in retrospect from a serious distance.

Much like Pierce's fandom of the Lakers growing up. ;)

Also the idea that we don't need a player like Wiggins because we have Jeff Green is simply hilarious.

There are 6 all-nba forwards and 15 slots total. Its harder to get on the all-nba team than the all-star team.

LeBron James
Kevin Love
Carmelo Anthony
Lamarcus Aldridge
Paul George
Anthony Davis
Kevin Durant
Al Horford
Josh Smith
Kawhi Leonard
Blake Griffin
Tim Duncan (if they don't put him at C like they should)
Dirk Nowitztki
David West

Is Jeff Green beating any of these players, let alone all but 5 of them?

Im not stating we couldnt use him.

My pt is we already have a top 6 sf.

What more can wiggins do to bring us to the top??  I cant see him score over 30,or 40 if the team is "stuck" . just too passive. Wiggins imo is a second option type guy and not someone you run your offense through

Gary Harris from Michigan State is another guy that really impressed me last night. He shoots with a lot of confidence and seems to really in command of the offense. Nobody is really talking about him, but he looked real good last night.

Jeff green is a sf . why do u list players that are not? Can three pfs make the 1st team?

Lebron, durant and george are the top three sf now. George has a poor shooting per and is not all that btter than green(a consistent green).

Leonard is not btter than green.

Leonard is better than Green. Plus defender, plus rebounder, scores at a similar rate, and is more efficient overall.

all-nba teams don't have SF/PF, they just have forwards. Dirk/KG/Duncan have all been on the same "team" before. So Jeff Green has to be better than all but 5 of the forwards on that list (and any others I missed) to make the all-nba team.

Sounds like a lot of the same criticisms that Jeff Green gets, rightly or wrongly. So I'd take the younger, more athletic player on a significantly more team-friendly contract every time.

And I like Jeff Green, but the idea that he's a top 6 SF in the league right now is, uh, a product of homerism, I think.

Jeff Green is NOT a top 6 SF, sorry!  That is a Green Teamer remark if I ever saw one.  I don't want to go back and forth on this all day.  Wiggins is twice the prospect that Green ever was!  He is 8 or 9 years younger!  Did you watch the game last night?  He was very, very, very good!  22/10 against a top 5 team.  He iced the game with a jumper and a dunk.  He has a chance to be an elite defender.  Andrew Wiggins is perennial NBA All-Star with a chance to be the best player in the NBA ( once Lebron leaves ) if he reaches his ceiling....Jeff Green is an average NBA player, that's it.....

It's really funny Wiggins has suddenly become "passive" with a 20 point game where he was out for a lot of it with foul trouble.  Maybe he should just get the ball and everyone should clear out every possession?

Have we watched college before?  20 points when you had to sit out good amount of the game, not getting a rhythm, is impressive.

I thought all three looked good last night although I nodded off kinda early in the Duke-Kansas game.

Liking Randle a lot.  He's a man among boys.  Already looks dominant out there and its only the beginning of his freshman year.

Parker looks extremely polished for a kid his age. Seems to already have an amazing feel for the game.

Wiggins has scary athleticism but he actually has game too. Not just some freak of nature that people are banking on his potential. Out of the three, he's the one that I want to see more of most.  I still think he's a bit of an unknown when it comes to what he can accomplish.

Ok name me the top 6-7 then

No ordinary nba player can dream to score 43 btw.

Green can be unstoppable. If ppl have forgotten already. And if he is not can still quietly score 17, 5,5 2 block shots. Very good defender also
