Trading Rondo now makes very little sense, even if it's true that putting him as the head guy in a young locker room seems like a recipe for disaster.
Rondo's value has to be at an all-time low right now, coming off a major knee injury. The Celtics have to wait until he's played his way back and shown that he is still at an All-Star level before trading him.
Unless, of course, there's some team out there, convinced of his value despite the injury, willing to give up some nice assets for him. I really doubt that, though.
