Twitter is blowing up because some idiots with fake Sam Amick and fake Chris Broussard are spreading Rondo trade rumors.

The fake Sam Amick rumors were Rondo to the blazers for Batum, 6, and 11

Ha, fake Sam Amick sounds legit.

But Batum can't be traded on draft night. RFA. Would have to be one of those handshake deals.

Dwayne Wade isn't a big SG.

He is bigger than bradley than Bradley.  And he probably the most physical SG in the game right?
He's a short SG, undersized just like Bradley. Not an example of the potential disadvantage that can be created if the opposition goes big.

Playing Tracy McGrady at the 2 (like Atlanta did) or just having a big SG who shoots over the top (Hayward).

Right.  He's not.  There was a game against the Hawks that Joe Johnson beasted over Bradley and it was concerning.  Also, I noticed that early in the Philly series, having Bradley on the court meant that Rondo had to guard 6'7 Evan Turner.  If you had Evans in the back court (dude is 6'6 and 220) that solves that potential problem.

Rondo didnt "Have" to guard Turner, they put Bradley on Holliday to slow him down.  Bradley was guarding the better player in the scenario.

But yes, you are right JJ is too big for Bradley.  But that didnt really concern me.  I knew he would struggle guarding Johnson

Wade is 6'4 220 which is sorta "undersized" as is... Bradley is 6'2 180 which is tiny for a SG.  Jason Terry (same size as Bradley) was considered a pretty decent defender early in his career too... but the fact is he was too small to contain most SG's and not a PG... so he's spent most of his (successful) career playing off the bench.

Not taking anything away from what Bradley did against Wade in the two games in April... but Bradley had the element of surprise working for him (he was playing his first games ever as a starter) and Wade was battling ankle and knee injuries that prevented him from playing many games that month... including games right after and before his boston games.  He still managed to score 15 and 20 in those games... and finished the month averaging 17.   That wasn't Wade at his best.  Still... nice block.

Yeah hey, lets completely derail a conversation about an unpublicized Rondo rumor into a rhetoric match about Avery Bradley's possible defensive deficiencies.

Sounds good.

Don't know how I feel about this... Feel like if this happened then KG probably wouldn't return. I wouldn't mind seeing the 3 way that i saw in here. Getting us Howard and then perhaps signing someone like Williams or Nash. I have a feeling there is going to be a report out on this trade here in a little. Just a gut feeling but I gurantee something comes of this Tyreke Rondo talk. But again something like the 3 way and then turn around and sign williams, I cant say I would be upset.

Williams
Bradley
Pierce
KG
Howard

Scary team

Lol.  The rumor is probably bogus anyways... so we might as well just start talking about whether Bill Russell could compete in today's game.  Just as relevant.

There were multiple times in the Atlanta series when Rondo got switched onto bigger offensive players to slow them down. Rondo probably did "have" to guard Turner some of the time.

The fake handles probably have more legitimate info than Amick or Broussard

Even if this rumor had a source and wasn't totally bogus, it still wouldn't make much sense.  Tyreke Evans has gotten WORSE each year he has been in the league which is not exactly what you want to see in player development.

His basic stats http://espn.go.com/nba/player/stats/_/id/3983/tyreke-evans

....not to mention that he has led the way on a perennial loser.
