You know who never quit on his team? Marc Gasol.

Neither will Steve 'The Maple-Leaf Ninja' Nash, Michael 'Finnegan's Wake' Finley, Scottie 'The Body' Pippen, Elton 'John' Brand, or Jermaine 'Lights Out' O'Neal.

I was worried about 'the body', but I narrowly avoided that by not drafting Toni Kukoc.

Pippen?  Mr. "not going to go back into the playoff game because the ball is going to someone else"?

You'll see I addressed that by not drafting Toni Kukoc.

Jeez do you even read my posts, or are you obsessed with keeping Dwight Howard and Deron Williams happy so they don't get you fired and quit on your team?

They are happy.  They have each other.  Howard has top level shooters to open up space.  Williams has guys that will finish his passes.

What more could those two ask for?

True love?

He distinctly said, "To Blave," and, as we all know, "to blave" means "to bluff." So you're probably playing cards, and he cheated!

Ive got a PG who has the length and athleticism to guard Penny Straight up

Yes, thats a PG and C standing next to eachother.

Size, yes.

Defensive skills, not that I ever saw.

How many 05-06 clipper games did you watch?  I watched 95% because my college roomate was a diehard clips fan and bought league pass.  He was pretty dominant that season defensively with his ball pressure and disruptive abilities on opposing PG's.

Edit: didnt mean the 95% thing to come off as a jerkish statement, I just watched wayyyy to many clipper games that year haha

I thought Shaun Livingston was a pretty good defensive player on wings. As a PG, I thought his man-to-man defense was uneven, struggled a bit against quickness but used his length very well in the halfcourt. I also thought his team defense was above average at PG.

As for Penny, I think Shaun Livingston is a fine defensive matchup against him but there is still a massive talent difference there that is firmly in Penny's favor.

If I were Denver, I'd be very happy with that matchup.

Im not saying I would use the matchup, I just wanted to say that I had somebody who COULD matchup lengthwise ;)

Try telling that to an FC Barcelona fan

He won league MVP before coming stateside. He left it all on the floor for FC. They understood.

Your Boston Celtics:

PG: Chris Paul ( 08-09) Tyreke Evans (09-10), Devin Harris (08-09)

SG: Vince Carter (00-01) Reggie Lewis (91-92)

SF: Jamal Mashburn (02-03) James Posey (03-04)

PF: Dirk Nowitzki (05-06) Juwan Howard (95-96) Antawn Jamison (07-08)

C: Marc Gasol (11-12) Andrew Bogut (07-08) Kendrick Perkins (08-09)

I agree with you all. This team leaves you speechless.

I think the panelists disagree with my viewpoint but I like your team more with James Posey starting and Mashburn in that reserve role.

I wasn't impressed with Mashburn in Miami when he had to share the ball with Timmy Hardaway and Alonzo Mourning. I thought he struggled to play at a high level in that situation and the touches + shot attempts will only get harder for Mashburn to receive in this Boston team.

I like Posey's low usage game and high level defense/rebounding alongside your star talent.

I think Posey's floor spacing is valuable alongside a ball-dominant guard like CP3 and two high powered offensive weapons like Dirk Nowitzki and Vince Carter. Especially with all those pick and rolls and isolation plays. I think that low usage high efficient scoring from Posey will be more useful than a ball-dominant wing like Mashburn.

And then there is the defensive upgrade and possession creation upgrade, slam dunk for me, Posey over Mashburn.

I think Mash struggled in Miami because none of the other stars on his team were particularly willing passers. Also,  this is a more mature Mash who evolved from a pure scorer to almost Grant Hill like production n New Orleans. he gives the starting line-up a third excellent passer behind CP3 and Gasol and someone to take the pressure off of VC. I appreciate Posey willing to be a cog but Mash's entire career has been about adapting his talents to what his team needs. in Dallas he was a pure scorer, in Miami he deffered and in New Orleans he was the man. And in all of these roles he was effective. He'll fill a niche here.

I have two issue.

1)  No girls allowed.

2)  Dr Pepper?  What is it?  Leaves me all confused about your team.

Too bad AI never had Scottie.
That would have been a nice combo.

Ya man, aren't you sick and tired of drinking all these girly sodas? I need a soda that shows off my masculine side.
