Ellis is a sieve on defense and needs the ball in his hands. Bradley can lock down on defense and is great working off the ball. It never hurts to have another guy who can create his own shot but Bradley works very well within the offense.

I think that a high-usage scoring wing is a bad fit for the Celtics unless he can do other things well and is willing to be selfless the way Paul Pierce has done in giving up being a possible 25ppg guy.  Monta Ellis is not a guy who can fit into the Celtics.  Bradley is and hopefully will remain that way.

TP.
Monta is a ball-hog and he'd much rather be the hero than fit into the team ethic. And from what I've heard - he has a giant ego.

Bradley is quiet, modest, a great guy to coach and he does whatever he needs to help the team. You just gotta respect that.
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

Rondo is very good.
Bradley is very good

Rondo and Bradley together are just deaddly. This is why we should n't break up those two. Rondo is getting better at everything, Avery too. Can't wait till next season.

Agreed.

I'd be hesitant to trade either of them, to be honest.

Why not keep both?

Rondo is often underrated because he doesn't play in a spectacular to watch team. Many people out there think Chris Paul is better, and the reason for that is media exposure and highlights shown by the mass media.. I mean, CP is very good but he isn't Rondo.

People think Chris Paul is better... because Chris Paul is better.

Gee... if only Rondo could get some exposure... must stink playing on such an afterthought team like Boston that the media ignores.  ;) lol

No need for sarcasm. ;) Be real, who would an average American rather watch? An old, unflashy but excellent team or a young, flashy team with dunks? The second one of course.

Rondo gets tons of exposure, but not as much as Chris. The guys  at ESPN, NBATV and NBA.com ignore the Cs regularly, now matter how good they play. It's a fact.

Well, I don't know, LarBrd33 - Magic Johnson, himself, recently stated that Rajon Rondo has had the better YEAR than CP3 and Deron...would you like me to find the link?

Rajon Rondo is on the upswing.

Coming from Magic? And even Cousy stated that we'd be crazy to trade Rajon.

I think THOSE two are endorsement enough for Rajon Rondo. :)

Here's the link:

http://slumz.boxden.com/f16/magic-johnson-jon-barry-say-rajon-rondo-best-point-guard-nba-video-1738204/

Rather obscure site, but that was the first site I found.

But it's right there.

Rondo's had a great year.

Chris Paul is unquestionably better.  Same for Deron.  :)

I bet Magic, Cousy, and Jon Barry wouldn't agree with you

But have a TP on me.

Your opinion is what makes this blog so what it is - an open forum.

I bet Magic and Jon Barry would take Chris Paul over Rondo in a nanosecond (even WITH the video throw-away comments that Rondo is having a better season... which isn't even true.  Chris Paul is having an MVP-level season).  Never know with Cousy... he barely even knows who plays on the Celtics.

But yes... Rondo is having a terrific season.
