and Thabo's almost complete lack of offense(though maybe that's because Durant, Harden and Westbrook take 90% of that team's shots)

Just wanted to drop this as a side note, Thabo played for my favorite basketball club during the lockout in our country and he showed some sort of offensive skills in Europe, so, technically speaking, yes, his lack of offense has got something to do with how Thunder team was constructed.

Bradley's not a phenomenal defender against 2-guards - we've seen several gain a great comfort level just rising up and shooting over him - but I like him against D-Wade.  Wade's most comfortable creating off the bounce and using on-ball screens - those are Bradley's defensive strengths.  He'd still be dangerous as a post-up guy, but less dangerous than as a penetrator.

Joe Johnson seems to be doing whatever he wants to Bradley tonight, though not having the better teammates playing leaves him more on an island than normal.

I haven't been able to watch most of the game, but wouldn't Bradley's defensive assignment be either Heinrich or Teague in the Hawks starting lineup?

I didn't see the first half but, I saw most of the third quarter and I'm not sure I saw Bradley guarding JJ. But if JJ did abuse Bradley, then didn't Bradley also abuse JJ? Bradley has 17 points in the first half.

I think you keep them both if you can.

Bradley is a scorer, not a facilitator.  His size suggests he'd a PG.  His game is that of an off guard.  I think I'd take my chances that a Rondo/Bradley combination can effectively guard  most if not all back courts regardless of their size.  Guys like Wade are going to post them up but Wade posts everybody up.

In the open court they're deadly.  They even seem to have found a nice chemistry in the half court.  If Bradley can consistently hit from the perimeter I'd take my chances with a Rondo/Bradley back court.

trade em both for Dwight Howard and sign Deron Williams as a free agent.  :)

FYI, I love what I'm seeing out of Bradley.  His ceiling is a smaller less dynamic version of Monta Ellis... and I don't really want to build a team around MOnta Ellis either.  Hard to win a title with an undersized shooting guard.

I don't understand the Monta Ellis comp that started appearing during tonight's game vs. the Hawks since Bradley was taking all of the shots. They're both undersized shooting guards, yes, but COMPLETELY different players. Ellis is a sieve on defense and needs the ball in his hands. Bradley can lock down on defense and is great working off the ball. It never hurts to have another guy who can create his own shot but Bradley works very well within the offense.

You could abuse JJ, Nick. He's never going to be confused with the all-defensive team.

Rondo is very good.
Bradley is very good

Rondo and Bradley together are just deaddly. This is why we shouldn't break up those two. Rondo is getting better at everything, Avery too. Can't wait till next season.

When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

Agreed.

I'd be hesitant to trade either of them, to be honest.

Why not keep both?

Rondo is often underrated because he doesn't play in a spectacular to watch team. Many people out there think Chris Paul is better, and the reason for that is media exposure and highlights shown by the mass media.. I mean, CP is very good but he isn't Rondo.

That's how it was with Magic and Larry, that's how it is with Paul and Kobe, Rondo and D-Will and Rondo and CP.

Unfortunately, a player's media exposure means a lot when it comes to the general opinion of the fans and players, about who is better. Flashy guys always get more recognition than the hard working, hustling guys who work their backsides off. Bradley is a good example. Nobody at NBA.com even knew he existed until a couple of days a go. It's a shame really.
