If I had to guess regular season standings in each conference

East

Heat
Knicks
Magic
Hawks
Cavs
Bulls
Pacers
76ers

West
Spurs
Thunder
Grizzlies
Lakers
Blazers
Suns
Warriors
Mavs

Thankyou for taking time out of your day to give an evaluation of how you see things playing out in this theoretical draft. I have no gripes about my team's placement.

You're welcome. Thanks for not keeping granger, btw.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I think the Knicks take the Heat in a 7 game series and for the regular season.

Lowry v Nash
Rush v Wade
Prince V Granger
Millsap v Favors/Haslem
Howard v Gortat

its close. Its a bloodbath in the paint for the Heat, but its pretty optimistic for me to think that I can limit all 3 of Nash/Wade/Granger, even with 3 plus defenders on them.

Knicks got it.

You're welcome for me giving you the idea to trade with the Suns not keeping Granger

You're adorable. When was the last time Dwayne Wade lost a playoff series when there was no elite player to guard him. Never mind Dwight's distaste for guarding a 1/5 pick and roll.

This isn't competitive, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I'm very surprised to see anybody who thinks that Courtney Lee is significantly better than Brandon Rush.

You caught me with the use of the word "significantly." But I'm also surprised to see so many guys evoking Rush's "higher ceiling", when both are twenty-six. I suspect with both guys what you see is what you get at this point.

Lee holds the edge on defense, and has generally been more readily trusted by his coaches. Rush is the better shooter - except oddly from the charity stripe where he's improved from poor to mediocre - and the better scorer.

To be clear, I'm kidding. I don't have a selection anytime soon.

Plus until Rush's crazy 54% 3PT shooting this year they've actually had very similar TS% and overall eFG%. Rush might hit more 3s but he's hit less everywhere else than Lee has.
