  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I'm on my phone so this is really slow but I'm pretty sure the next two picks are mine so I'll take Kousta Koufus and Alonzo Gee
ok so I'm confused now.  Is the front page wrong with who owns those picks?  It has Gee going to Philly.

It's becoming really difficult tracking who has who.

That's CFF's pick. He's right. Philly traded it, and I'm lazy.
I'd have gone with overworked instead of lazy.  can't believe you've kept up with it as well as you have so far.  TP for a hell of an effort.

I appreciate that, but Roy deserves the TP's. He's pretty much running this thing now, and without any appreciation.

Everyone appreciate Roy! (while still subtly chipping away at the extensive PR campaign he's waging on behalf of the Cavaliers)

I raise a glass of milk to Sir Roy.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Top five SF's don't get left off the 22nd choosen team's pick 2 list.
Hmmm top 5 SFs, well going by Tier:

LBJ

-------
Durant

------
Iggy, Pierce, Melo
------
Gallanari, Batum, Gay, Granger

I guess you could argue for top 6, but even that's a stretch in my book.

Batum's awful high there, and Gay should be in a tier all by his lonesome above the last but below the third.

Also,

Nash
Wade
Lebron
Favors
Available Center (and there's a few good ones still)

is a better lineup.
Yeah I think that's the case, though really I'm not in love with Nash with Wade or LeBron let along both.

If I had to guess regular season standings in each conference

East

Heat
Knicks
Magic
Hawks
Cavs
Bulls
Pacers
76ers

West
Spurs
Thunder
Grizzlies
Lakers
Blazers
Suns
Warriors
Mavs

Thankyou for taking time out of your day to give an evaluation of how you see things playing out in this theoretical draft. I have no gripes about my team's placement.

You're welcome. Thanks for not keeping granger, btw.

You're welcome for me giving you the idea to trade with the Suns not keeping Granger

No NETS!?!?!? BLASPHEMY!!
hey, I'm just happy the Bulls are getting some consideration.  hope to move up that list with some bench improvement.

I do think the Spurs are looking pretty impressive teamwise though.

I always think of Iggy as a 2, but that's probably more CBlog draft overload. Pierce is on such a steady decline I can't put him over Granger and I hate Melo. That last point is plain and simple.

I think the Knicks take the Heat in a 7 game series and for the regular season.

Lowry v Nash
Rush v Wade
Prince V Granger
Millsap v Favors/Haslem
Howard v Gortat

its close. Its a bloodbath in the paint for the Heat, but its pretty optimistic for me to think that I can limit all 3 of Nash/Wade/Granger, even with 3 plus defenders on them.

Knicks got it.

You're adorable. When was the last time Dwayne Wade lost a playoff series when there was no elite player to guard him. Never mind Dwight's distaste for guarding a 1/5 pick and roll.

You're the cutest thing to ever wear overalls. When was the last time Dwyane Wade won a title without a dominating bigman? Nevermind Derrick Favors' distaste for starting ahead of Paul Millsap.

You're just a delight. When was the last time Dwight won a title? When was the last time anyone on your team was an MVP? When was the last time anyone on your team was a finals MVP?

I disagree. You can't win from the outside in, you have to have legitimate 15/10 players or you should just go home. Trading Lebron got me that in Gortat and it also netted me another 18 ppg scorer and a still in his prime top 5 pg. Nash/Wade/LeBron would be a lot of passing but with no one to pass it to.

When nick talks about Luol Deng being one of the most underrated players in the NBA, the above is what he's talking about.  The dude destroyed the Celtics last night, and he doesn't even make top-9 on a Celtics blog.

Deng is better than Iggy, Pierce, Granger, Gallinari, Batum, and Gay by a wide margin.

You're like if someone took rainbows and made them people. When was the last time Dwight had a team with anywhere near the amount of talent I'm surrounding him with? And he should've won the MVP last season, but no one gave a crap cuz he played with Ryan Andersen as the second best player on the team.

When i did the ranking quickly in my head it was : LBJ Durant Gay Deng Granger. But my head hates Melo and forgets Iggy's a SF.

You know how freshly baked Choclate Chip Cookies have that soft gooey center? that's what you do to my heart everytime you act like coulda woulda and shoulda matter. You don't see me complaining that the 07 Suns shoulda won a ring if the NBA didn't have draconian on court conduct policies.
