I'm on my phone so this is really slow but I'm pretty sure the next two picks are mine so I'll take Kousta Koufus and Alonzo Gee

The Cavs:

Starters:

PG: Kyrie Irving
SG: Landry Fields
SF: Luol Deng
PF: Kris Humphries
C: Andrew Bynum

Bench:

Brandon Bass
George Hill

Team that might be tickling the playoffs this season (honestly, I have to look at the other teams to compare)

But will likely be regulars going forward.

Interesting.  I see the Cavs as a clear playoff team, and as an outside contender.  I'd agree, though, that they're probably a year or two away.

While he's certainly ahead of the curve, I don't think Irving is polished enough  to help this team past maybe a first round win. I could see some issues with this team scoring the ball against playoff quality teams in Irving's first year.

EDIT: Though, will be interested to see what Bynum can do with a team that... you know... gives him the ball.

I'll say it, and then I'm sure a bunch of people will tell me why I'm wrong but I liked Lee in your starting lineup more than Rush. Like his speed, consistency and d for your lineup.

But again, the value in the swap in picks would make it worth it to me.

Trade:

Knicks Trade: Lee, 6.14, 8.20
Hornets trade: Rush, 6.3, 7.3

Man, that's just a bad trade.  New Orleans gave up the best player in the deal, and the two best picks.

I disagree.  Rush is relying on a statistical anomaly to have his first decent year.  He's been a useful player in GS, but I value Lee's consistency.

I'm very puzzled by this explanation.  Last year, Rush outscored Lee, as well, and shot a higher 3PT% than him.  Rush's career low is 37.3% 3PT shooting, and he's been over 41% the last three years.

They're similar enough players, but Rush is the one who is having the better year this year, had the better year last year, and has more upside going forward.

I don't think its far to label the trade like you did for Atzar. Lee's a proven commodity, whereas Rush is much more inconsistent, higher upside.

How is the guy who consistently shoots better, and who has had the better year the last two seasons, the inconsistent one?  Courtney Lee has coasted on his rookie reputation from Orlando for a couple of seasons now.  Rush is currently the better player, and has been for quite some time.

It was a very good trade for New York, and a very bad one for New Orleans.  Yes, I think it's fair to label it that way.  This isn't competitive, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I'm very surprised to see anybody who thinks that Courtney Lee is significantly better than Brandon Rush.

The Portland Trailblazers select: Imam Shumpert.

Not BPA just a personal favorite. At least the rook is tied with Tony Allen for third best defensive rating among guards and is the only player in the top 10 still on the board.

Also for the record, I liked the Rush pick, but if you make me choose, I'm team Courtney Lee.

Like I said, I haven't looked at the rest of the teams.

I am always iffy about a team being playoff worthy built around a rookie PG (a very good one mind you) and an oft-injured C.

Once I look at the other teams, I reserve the right to change my mind.

Shumpert is solid.  At the very least, he's a defensive stopper.  Let's hope his offensive game comes around.

Nice pick. I really like the way your team is coming together, but I think you need an actual point guard at some point. Right now you have nobody to run your offense, and Lou and Shump are more scorers than distributors.

I dislike talking about your team. They're too good and I don't like it.

Nice defense.

A lot of pressure on Lowry to deliver big in the 4th quarter at the end of games.  I see no one else who can have the ball in their hands and create.

You are the Spurs but with Chris Bosh at Power Forward. You're welcome, thanks for the TP
