SO I've got class again so you're rehired for the 4.13. Since it is human nature to second-guess everything, I'm sending over a new list :P

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Willing to trade any of my guys:

Nash
Reddick
Granger
Carl Landry
Gortat

Make me your best offer.

What's the deal with Carl Landry? He got hurt again, right?

Not that I know of, he's played 24 games this year.

Landry's missing all of February and some of March with a MCL sprain. Should be back without issue.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Does the draft seem less active this year than in year's past?  Or is that just the nature of the more laid back Pick 2 atmosphere?

Its on me, should've done regular draft hours (morning session, afternoon session).

Oddly enough, me too. And I forgot...AGAIN!

It's been pretty active for me behind the scenes, but for some obvious reasons the draft board itself isn't as active.

Denver after 4 rounds:

PG: Ty Lawson
SG: Arron Afflalo, Ben Gordon
SF: Jason Richardson
PF: Al Horford
C: Nene, Nikola Pekovic

Moving Richardson to the 3 should help him as his speed wanes due to age. He's got enough size/strength not to get overmatched out there and the switch should help his defense. He and Afflalo can both play at SF when needed, so Lawson-Gordon-Afflalo is a reasonable backcourt, although not great defensively (Lawson is fast enough to keep his guy in front of him at all times, but small, while Afflalo is a strong defender on the wing but could have some trouble with bigger 3s).

I like my big man rotation. Lots of bulk and guys who can defend as well as score around the basket. Pekovic/Gordon will lead what should end up being a pretty strong bench. So we've got guys who can rebound and work in the paint along with guys who can shoot from long range and drive into the lane reasonably well. Fairly athletic, too, so an uptempo pace should suit them, barring Pekovic developing a Radja-esque two-pack-a-day smoking habit.

JB is on the clock.

What's the rule about respecting the break if there were skipped picks in the early session?

Heck of a team, Champ. Heck of a team. I'd sew up the 3 with some sure-thing role players in case J-Rich continues to slump. Horford and Nene are a scary thought, I'd say you're my top team in the west if Al can get back.

Give them time to pick.

I would trade Jason Richardson or Ben Gordon. Or even Afflalo. One of the three.

I don't like Jason Richardson at quick forward and there aren't enough minutes in the backcourt for all of them. Best to trade and fill that void at SF.
