IP's done a great deal of work in this draft guys, might wanna consider giving him a little extra time before making your picks

I figured IP was going SG regardless, and I didn't want to get skipped.

Lee is definitely a respectable pick.

Oh ya, when you're on the verge of getting skipped that's the right move. I was just mentioning if you could afford a little time, give him an extra minute.

Sorry for any micomm, gang. I'll go back to shallow humor.

Don't worry, IP would have jumped in front of you without remorse.  Most likely with a smile on his face.   :D

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
IP does not have a smile on his face right now at all, cuz he rushed that pick.

Literally 2 minutes before Champ picked, my boss comes to me and sends me off on a f-udging wild goose chase to get this garage owners' signature.

Who was IP gonna pick? Yes...Ben Gordon. Call it the 'KC Karma'.

I think your team is better off with Lee.

Well I couldn't get Pekovic, so I was left debating Kanter, Haywood and this guy, and was probably going to take him at 3.20. This guy has the best defensive PER of the three and is producing at a similar rate as Kanter, but is out-rebounding Haywood with a sparkling 22% defensive rebounding rate. He's also 10 years younger. Per 36, his averages are 12.5 and 10.8 with 1.6 blocks, a steal on 51.3% shooting, which extends 15-18 feet. He's started for a stretch on a top 3 team in the East.

It might be a contested pick and I'll be sure to get a veteran presence later, but welcome aboard Nikola Vucevic! I'm excited to have a beefy big who can stretch the floor, rebound and protect Amare/Anderson without clogging up space.
Having a very nice season for Philadelphia. Great pick.

Vucevic was one of two players I was hoping GSW would nab to backup Marcus Camby while they learn their trade and then take over the starting position once Camby retires.

Thanks. The youth is a little concerning but there are examples of teams being successful with young guns out there (Blair comes to mind). I'm aware that I definitely need a mentor for him at some point, though.

I think real Orlando vs. fake Orlando is going to be an interesting debate.

On paper, it probably goes to fake Orlando.  On paper, though, real Orlando would never be projected to be as good as they are.  Dwight basically guarantees them 50 wins, no matter what crap Otis Smith throws out there for a roster.

Someone else PM'd me about him yesterday, so to be fair, as of yesterday I was aware that he was a professional basketball player.

Then I was faced with the decision of googling him or going to Tedeschi's to get myself a snack.

Just letting it be known that I'd trade Emeka Okafor or Brendan Haywood in the right deal.
