Immature prick who cannot stay out of foul (and tech) trouble every game. Stay away, unless you can get him for close to nothing.

Big man with a ton of talent on both ends of the floor and extremely young, still getting better. Under Doc and KG, he could be a superstar.

He has always had an attitude, that being said if you can get him for cheap then you would have to make the deal. I'm sure they could get a better package than Bradley and the Clippers 1st but I would offer that up and see what happens. Stranger stuff has happened in sports

I agree 100%. Avery Bradley cannot contribute on this team anyways.

Unless he demands a trade on the third day after those two wouldn't get out of his hair... or god forbid, if Doc decides to bring him off the bench. Guy comes with major red flags. I'd say buyer beware.

In any case, we're not giving up a star player to get him, so what the heck. Might as well try. An interesting question is will we try to get him, if the price is Bass + Bradley + picks, for example.

I will still do that. Bass is no star player of building block, and Cousins can easily match Bass'  production for us this year.

Even if he were to behave with KG around, what happens when KG retires? He will resort to the behavior of a petulant child.  This kid is nothing but trouble.

I really don't want this guy anywhere near the Celtics.

This guy is a walking red flag.

How soon could we trade Bass?  I can't imagine the Kings would want to let this fester for long in a shortened season.

I'd think that Bass, Bradley, the Clippers pick and Boston's 2012 pick would be the minimum, and they might want Stiemsma, Moore and JJJ.  I hate, hate, HATE the idea of losing Bass, but sliding Cousins into the starting lineup is awesomely tempting.  If Cousins remains a malcontent, Ainge would have thrown away any chance of winning 18 this year and hamstrung the rebuilding process.  On the other hand, putting that kind of size and talent at the 5 and bringing 4 vets (Dooling, 'Quis, JO and Pietrus) off the bench would vault Boston from fringe contender to the level of Miami and Chicago.

Of course, this assumes that Cousins can pick up the offensive and defensive sets, something even veteran players have struggled with in Boston.

so was Lamar Odom, so was Michael Beasley, and so many other players.  Sometimes a player just needs a change of scenario after they have had a chance to grow up a bit.  It may still be too early for Cousins and maybe he ends up a player that just can't change or grow up, but a player of his skill level is worth the risk and will be for a lot of teams.

Frankly, I just don't think the Celtics have the pieces necessary to trade for Cousins unless they are willing to part with Rondo.  Certainly the Celtics wouldn't do that straight up, but the Celtics might trade Rondo for Evans and Cousins or something like that.  Don't know if the Kings do that, but they might.

Looks like he isn't going anywhere

Kings co-owner Joe Maloof and general manager Geoff Petrie said they will not trade Cousins, regardless of his wishes. Cousins, 21, is in the second year of a rookie contract paying him $3.6 million this season, and it would be tough for the Kings to get equal value for a talented player who already has a long history of throwing temper tantrums.

“We’re happy that he’s a King,” Maloof told Y! Sports. “But when a coach asks you to do something, you got to do it. We’re not trading him. …We have great expectations for him. It’s just one of those things that happens.

“Sooner or later he’ll understand what the NBA is about. Just get along with people. That’s all.”

Through the years the Celtics have done quite well with malcontents  (even our beloved DJ was considered to be a malcontent when we picked him up).  Danny may  feel that the Big Four can handle Cousins.

I would be very wary of a second year man who thinks he is good enough to run the whole show, though.  One LeBron in the league has been one more than the league can handle gracefully.

The whole trade scenario seemed to me to be an over reaction to the incident...The Kings, because Cousins is still on his rookie contract, could never get his worth back in trade.

It is extremely unlikely that the Cs could pull a draft pick with Cousins' upside from the two picks they will have this summer.  I'd trade those two picks and JO's expiring deal for DMC (Or Bradley and Wilcox and the two firsts, If Sacto prefers that).

It's easy to say "I don't want that kind of guy on my team" but when you have a chance to grab a big with top of league talent at his position, you have to take it, even with the big downside if Cousins can't conform to your program.

Cousins has all the ability to be a top center in this league for the next decade.  True, it mike take him a decade to figure it out, a la Zach Randolph, but what better environment than this HOF laden, Doc Rivers coached team for DMC to learn and thrive?

Considering the window is closing on the Big 3, I'd send both the first round picks and one or two seconds to make this trade.  The upside, a fully engaged Cousins starting alongside KG, could mean another title and a cornerstone center with as much upside as any center not named Dwight Howard.
