Cousins is a huge talent, he just needs some handling by some respected coachs and older no BS players

like  Doc and KG?   Yep ..I'd take a big chance on him....he'll eventually mature...I mean if MEtta Peace can finally sorta grow up??? Wait what I'm I saying.. ??? ::)
Well, just cause he changed his name doesnt mean he hasnt matured. In fact, he has seemed quite calm in the last few years to me.

Trade Cousins for Blatche.  Knucklehead for knucklehead, and John Wall gets to play with his buddy.

Exactly my thoughts. A core of Wall, Cousins, and Harrison Barnes, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, or someone else from this year's draft has ridiculous potential.
Why are you rooting for another team to get him?

Funny cuz his agent says DC didn't demand a trade. If so that's a stupid coach that NEEDS to be fired!!!

CBS Sports:

Quote
In a shocking move, the Kings have sent DeMarcus Cousins home for the game Sunday against New Orleans after Cousins reportedly demanded a trade. According to SI.com, coach Paul Westphal sent Cousins home, explaining in a statement “When a player continually, aggressively, lets it be known that he is unwilling/unable to embrace traveling in the same direction as his team, it cannot be ignored indefinitely." Cousins’ agent, John Greig responded to SI.com by saying “DeMarcus never demanded a trade. I'm surprised the Kings, if they believe the player wanted a trade, wouldn't they have made a phone call to his representative? Maybe Westphal is just feeling the heat early this season."
Yup

The Celtics have no offer for DMC.  None.  Best asset they can offer is a couple first round picks (Clippers and their own).  Not gonna cut it.

I imagine the Rockets are gonna try to get in on this.

I wouldn't mind Cousins, but NO on trading any of the big 3...Obviously not involving rondo as well, the rest I'm fine with

The interesting part is that Ainge has long coveted Tyreke Evans. Although Evans' game has slipped a bit, he is still very young (21) and is still under his rookie contract. Cousins & Evans for Rondo is something to think about it, especially if you're able to land a 1st rd pick in the process.

I thought about this, but ask yourself . . . would the Kings really give up Cousins AND Evans (who, let's remember, averaged 20-5-5 in his rookie season) for Rondo?

Conversely, would the C's make that trade?  I'm not sure they would, since I don't think they'd be a better team right now.  Evans is not really a passer at all.  Not a guy you want running this offense.

That's exactly it, you can make a case for both sides, which is the definition of a fair trade.

Why for us?
We land Evans to replace Rondo and although not the passer Rondo is, he makes us a tough matchup for most teams. 1's will probably chase Ray around as most are just too small for Evans. Cousins is a buy low with huge potential. The Kings did themselves no favors for trade value by making this public. That said, is there a better team to guide Cousins down the right path?

Why for Kings?
Obviously they feel Cousins is destroying their team. If not, why make this public and send him home? Evans has regressed since his rookie year, albeit due to injury woes. Rondo provides them with a pure PG on a multi-year deal, which can be the catalyst for the fastbreak O they're built to play.

Lets sent Avery Bradley and our 2nd round pick for him.

(Sad thing is that is only slightly less realistic than some of the other trades people have proposed in here.)

Wow. Wonder what the Kings will want for him. No doubt Danny will take a look at this; what do you guys think?

i wouldnt touch him with a 10 foot pole.  he has trouble written all over him.  he is young and hasnt done anything and he is demanding a trade....screw that
this....let me guess....he wants to go to Miami, the Clippers, the Lakers, Brooklyn, or NY

Something seems fishy here.

This CANNOT be the same DeMarcus Cousins that I saw hustling and diving on the floor for loose balls VS the Lakers just last week...can't be.

Something's not right.

He has always had an attitude, that being said if you can get him for cheap then you would have to make the deal. I'm sure they could get a better package than Bradley and the Clippers 1st but I would offer that up and see what happens. Stranger stuff has happened in sports

We can give them Jermaine and or Pavlovic as well.

or maybe ainge can give them yesterday's newspaper, a bucket of balls, a second rounder, avery, and other flotsam and jetsom.

i do not object to trade proposals, but i would like to see proposals that are less "our trash for your star."

whew...i feel better now. thanks.

Because the league is better when smaller markets are also successful. It's not like getting DeMarcus Cousins is getting Shaquille O'Neal... plus he's kind of a.... wait for it.... Big Baby.

Kinda funny how Wilcox "couldn't make the trip" because of a bruised shoulder, and now Cousins gets sent home???

He and Rondo seemed pretty friendly this summer to...

DunDun...Dunnnn

Just a acquiescence, but Im sure some people got  pretty excited when they started to read that. Hell I did just thinking it!:P

Really Demarcus? So tired of these divas running amok in the NBA these. I don't think I pouted and demanded as much when I was 13. I'll just assume it's a false rumor because it's too ridiculous to be true.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

wouldn't be suprised if danny thought long and hard about rondo for cousins and evans, although i think they would have to pick up garcia's contract.

something like
garcia+evans+cousins

for

rondo+bradley

for sac i can't see how a back court rotation of jimmy, evans and thornton will ever work.

Isn't he friends with Rondo too? I hope we get him this coming offseason with various sign and trades. Our team now is pretty perfect.
