That sucks for the Grizzlies. Who backs up ZBo now?

I bet Memphis is really kicking themselves for backing out of that Mayo-for-McRoberts swap.

They should try to trade for Anthony Randolph.

Lot's of 1 year deals this offseason. I guess most players think they can get more in a longer FA period.

Sources say only threat of severe punishments from Chinese league, including possible forfeitures, has prevented K-Mart's release to date

Oh boy, I'd rather they kept Kenyon until March. Gives Boston a better chance of nabbing him.

If they release him now, teams with their MLE leftover can easily out-bid Boston.

Lakers spent theirs. Miami too. New York. Chicago. Dallas. Neither Orlando, Oklahoma or Memphis are likely to be in the market for someone like Kenyon. San Antonio?

San Antonio works. Kenyon would be a very nice addition to that squad.

Didn't Chicago use their MLE on Rip Hamilton?

Wow I really thought he was going to get overpaid by someone.  Not a bad signing for the Wiz.

He'll get overpaid by somebody, but it will be next season, when the market for SGs is very thin.

Yes, sorry, my post was unclear. Chicago and Dallas (along with Miami and LA) have both spent their exception. New York spent their cap space and $2.5million exception. So none of those clubs have money to offer Kenyon anything other than the minimum.

San Antonio looks to be the only high level team available with money to spend.

Good news. I am happy he'll be available next year when the C's have some money.

If things play out well (get Rondo some top tier talent help in the frontcourt), Nick Young could be a very nice complementary piece. A scorer of his caliber could forge a very nice partnership in the backcourt with Rondo.

Not a signing: Darrell Arthur is thought to be lost for the season following a serious Achilles injury.

That is a pretty big blow to Memphis' supporting cast.

They should go after Kenyon Martin as a replacement.

Orlando started Glen Davis at the four alongside Dwight Howard last night. Surprising.

I would have expected Stan Van Gundy to keep Ryan Anderson in the starting lineup and use BBD as a sixth man.

If I was going to have one of the Young boys I would want Thaddeus.

Defensively there's no question Baby is the better fit and if you want some instant offense off the bench Anderson and his three point shooting is the way to go. I think it's the right decision, especially since its the decision Howard wants, and lets be honest, he's the one calling the shots in that franchise right now.
