Seems somewhat strange. No backup center now. Only Dante Cunningham as a backup big man and he is a combo forward. I think this puts them down to 12 men too.

I have to imagine that Memphis already have someone else lined up. Be it a free agent five like  Eric Dampier or Joel Przybilla ... or the most likely option, they finally reached an agreement with Hamed Haddadi. Appearently, the only reason they withdrew their qualifying offer to him was to get him on a cheaper contract (from $2mil down to $1mil to $1.5mil).
