Rusted Rims trade Andrew Bogut, Francisco Garcia, Al Thornton, Jordan Hill, and Jeff Foster

Whoa, obviously I'm just catching up on today's continued break neck pace. (Two seasons ago we didn't have this many trades all year.)

This is a solid deal. Bogut is the best player involved. I like Kemba's chances to beat out Augustin at some point, although what will his %s look like? From my vantage, Roy's health and play will swing it.

Generating some discussion:  which players do you think will be helped most if we go to a 72 game season?

I think it's going to help out a lot of the fringe younger guys.  With 4 games per week on average, it's going to put the onus on younger legs.  Especially on veteran teams like the Celtics, I think you'll see the younger guys get more run than usual.

In other news, Avery Bradley is on the block.

I know I overpaid quite a bit..but I wanted Rondo..and Andre is a nice young prospect...plus I get the first pick. I may very well regret this trade...but for now, I'm okay with it.

There's a lot of value on both sides.  I think the 1st rounder probably tips it in DD's favor, but it's hard to say right now.  A lot will depend on what you can flip Tim Duncan for.
