OK, so while we wait for the 5-team Lebron-Durant-CP3-Dirk-Brad Miller blockbuster to go down.....

I'll put Chuck Hayes, Boobie Gibson and Andrei Kirilenko's names out there if other teams are interested.

I'm not looking to give any of these 3 away but I sent an offer out for the first time today that included Hayes & Gibson so I guess I'd at least consider moving them for the right price.

I've gone back and forth on some disucssions including Kirilenko, but the other GM and I just were too far apart on the diff. players involved to make a deal.

To be clear, in any deal 1) I'd like to get younger, and 2) I want similar (although perhaps slightly lesser) quality.  That means Deng for Pierce would at least be the starting point for a negotiation, whereas Luke Babbitt for Pierce wouldn't be.

Don't hate on my man Luol, they are effectively the same player but Luol is 8 years younger.

For the next couple of seasons, I would still prefer Pierce.  Pierce scores a bit more, passes a bit more, is a bit more efficient, and gets to the line / shoots from the line quite a bit better than Deng.

But, Pierce's better production is off-set by Deng's younger age.  That's the type of trade I'm willing to discuss:  giving up a better player currently, for a younger guy who is still legitimately good.

there are some teams that should jump on this. The downside for the rest of us is making the Nats younger... But maybe there's a larger opening for a non-Nats title run this year and next.
