Trade to announce:

Lucky17 trades Beno Udrih, Baron Davis, Udonis Haslem
Webskins trade Nate Robinson, Jason Kidd, Taj Gibson, own 2012 2nd rounder, and Naturals' 2012 2nd rounder

TP to Kane for sticking with some serious back and forth negotiations on this. Hunter, Stern, Fisher and the others could have learned a thing or two from us on this one, I think.

I think I like this deal more for Kane.  B-diddy is probably the best player in the deal and is younger than Kidd.  Gibson is an upgrade over haslem and who knows whats going to happen with Nate robinson.

And we all know how much i value 2nd rounders  ;)

I agree - and Udrih may get amnestied, which makes him a pretty big wildcard, but we've seen that he can put up solid numbers with more minutes.  Depending on how his situation plays out this could really help Kane.

I will say that Baron is neck-and-neck with Drew Gooden on my list of "guys who are likely to come back from the lockout with a Sheedesque pot belly and get injured in Week 3", though.   :)

I agree on that.  Conditioning was never his strong suit, I mean his teams owner heckled him for being fat.

If there is no season this year will kidd retire though?  How many years are left on his deal?

I'd read that the Bucks won't use the amnesty clause on Udrih. If he ends up staying with them, then he probably won't see many minutes with Jennings and Shaun Livingston on the roster as well.

Didn't the seventeen Luckies deal Kidd for Davis, in a deadline deal last year that helped deliver a title to my rival?

Yes, we did. The deal also brought us Haslem. I'm still waiting for Roy to send me the ring, however.

This is why I declined a deal involving Udrih, his numbers where good when he played 35 minutes with the Kings, but I doubt he'll probably get more than 20minutes a night now.

I like this deal better for Lucky. Davis for Kidd is a wash, as both have limited shelf life and value, but Kidd is more constant and Davis is more injury/laziness prone. He potentially loses some productivity going from Udrih to Nate, but as others said, Udrih may not see the floor much this year. In the end, Lucky wins out in the deal by landing Gibson, who imo will start and produce very well after the bulls trade Boozer for a sg.

Chicago trading Boozer for a SG is a very big assumption. What SGs do you see coming over for Boozer?

Chicago trading Boozer for a SG is a very big assumption. What SGs do you see coming over for Boozer?

of course, it's my own opinion, but I think the writing is on the wall that Boozer is their best asset to land a much needed SG. Some sports writers have already written about a few versions of a Boozer trade that make sense for both sides. Having Gibson and Asik gives the bulls this flexibility to make such a move, and imo it would be a mistake for them not to make it.

Wowza.

That's *a lot* of young talent to give up, but let's hope it works out for the Webskins in the present.

Webskins had to give up a lot because they had a VERY reluctant trade partner - I was really planning to hold onto Bogut for a long time.  But when he added Kemba to the deal I pretty much had to go for it.  Hope it works out for both of us.

My new roster:

Jarrett Jack
Jameer Nelson
Mike Dunleavy
Greg Monroe
Carmelo Anthony
Tyrus Thomas
Corey Brewer
Mehmet Okur
Brandon Knight
Damion James
Terrence Williams
Iman Shumpert
Kemba Walker
Klay Thompson
Brandon Roy
Ekpe Udoh
Omer Asik
Eddie House

I'll listen to offers on anybody, but the crossed-out guys will probably cost more than anybody'd be willing to give up.  I'm also in no hurry to make another deal, but if anybody wants to take a crack I'm all ears.
