I knew it was only a matter of time until Birdman got Faried. I think it is a fairly even trade overall, although I like Deng the most out of those guys.

I like that one for Rondo.  Deng is only 25, and is a consistent 17/6 player who seems to be developing a three point game.  Williams and Mayo have much more uncertain futures.

I'd have to agree. And Barbosa is 28, a reliable scorer, and at this point the second best player in the trade after Deng. I'm a Faried fan, but I don't like how much Birdman has given up, since both Mayo and Williams are coming of terrible seasons.

Hey Luck...thanks for the heads up.  I had no idea about all of the activity!  Sorry for being M.I.A.  I have been too angry with the NBA to look at anything NBA related for a few months.  A trip to CB is enough to raise my blood pressure to unsafe levels.  I'm kidding (I think).

I'm always open to trade offers.  Sorry to those of you that I have ignored up to this point.  I'll reply to those of you that have sent proposals since the end of the draft.  Nobody on my team is untouchable.  Feel free to keep the proposals coming.

I'll also change my settings to let me know of PMs via email.

me too and I tried to revive them recently. I finally got in touch (within the  last week) and he said he was standing pat until the labor situation shakes out.

my assumption would be that may be what's going on w/ Blake and LB17 -- though i don't know for sure. given the state of the NBA i don't know how much i'd read into it...

I sometimes question my own sanity for checking the CBlog forums so much given the looming threat of a lost season

I hear ya - I guess for me CB and especially this league is the closest thing to basketball at this point, at least until college ball gets going this weekend. 

Plus I gotta kill lunch + coffee time at work somehow
