  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I am extremely uneducated on the NBA draft situation for us this year.
Do we get out own first round pick +the Clippers pick (or is Clippers pick next year?

If both are this year, what numbers in the first round are we most likely looking at? I'm guessing around 10 for the first Clippers pick and 18-20 for our second

furthermore, what players are most likely to be on Danny/Docs radar?

Thanks for the help..
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

The Clippers pick is in 2012 and is top 10 protected, no?

Clippers is 2012 top 10 protected. This year's draft is weak.

This year, Jajuan Johnson out of Purdue. Big 10 player of the year, 6-10 plays similar to KG.

I care less and less about the draft every year.  I fear I'll care more and more about it soon.

i too like jujuan johnson. Another is Scotty Hopson out of Tennessee. Athletic guy who can shoot. Seems lazy and occasionally takes bad shots, but at the right price, could provide some scoring of the bench.

Reggie Jackson - 6 foot 4 SG with a 7 foot wingspan.  Great athlete, can drive the ball and is a nock down shooter.  Also happens to be from BC.  with his wing span and athleticism he has the potential to be a lock down defender, unfortunately defense was never something the BC stressed
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Over the last 4 or so drafts, I've come to appreciate the drafting prowess of the San Antonio Spurs.

I like Kenneth Fairead, he has a talent that translates from college to the NBA. He is an athletic rebounder, who plays very good defense. Probably not an all star but a sure fire NBA player.

I also like Tristan Thompson from Texas, he's an athletic big with a strong base that runs the floor and can finish at the rim.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Would have to trade into the top 15 to land Thompson.

While I realize they could both be healthy Powe or Baby-type contributors, I really want a full-sized PF.  I had enough of Gody last year.
