If JO and Shaq both come back will be a problem to find minutes to bring a young big along, would not mind bringing Kristic and Semih back. Semih can cover alot of ground and disrupts a lot of shot around the rim.

If JO and Shaq both come back then I would expect them to get limited minutes during the regular season in order to preserve their health. That would mean we would have Krstic and not much else at center. Jeremy Tyler looked good at the combine from what I saw, he seemed to have a soft touch and finished with authority at the rim. Also check out his measurements here: http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-pre-draft-measurements/?page=&year=2011&source=All&sort2=DESC&draft=0&pos=0&sort=

Semih's not walking through that door.  Cleveland's keeping him around.

If the C's go big with their pick and that player doesn't see court time, it would be because Shaq and JO took all the minutes.  Shaq's toast, JO is an injury waiting to happen and Krstic won't be enough (a suitable backup certainly, but not the guy you want starting at center to contend).
Any new player will sit because at #25 in a weak draft, the kid has limitations and Doc doesn't play rookies unless he's out of live bodies (and even then Doc will run the starters into the ground).

I'd be inclined to swing for the fences: Jeremy Tyler.  However, I predict he'll climb to above #25.

If we're really going to rebuild around Rondo  :P you can't have another non-shooter on the floor with him, which eliminates Travis Leslie.

Faried is going well above #25.  Plus he's a non-shooter.

Kyle Singler = Matt Janning.

So, basically, you want to trade the pick...those guys very rarely exist this late, even in a very good draft, let alone a weak one like this.

SIZE.  That's what I'm hoping we draft.  I don't know the players at all in this draft, but it'd be nice to have some big athleticism come off the bench and eat some regular season minutes up.

I want best player available.

Like Danny said in an interview getting too caught up with size or need can lead you down a wrong path sometimes. You start thinking about size and position rather than talent

The two names who intrigue me for Boston are Marshon Brooks and Nikola Vucevic.

With Doc Rivers locked up for a few more years, I think some emphasis has to be placed on evaluating whether or not a player is smart enough to learn and implement Doc's defensive schemes.
