BISMACK BIMBOYO!

It sounds like he is going top 10.  So, I would cross him off your list.

My favorite options for the C's at this point (in no particular order) are:

Tyler Honeycutt
Malcolm Lee (UCLA guys just seem to always transition so well to the NBA lately)

Chris Singleton
Jordan Williams
Jeremy Tyler

I also wouldn't have a problem with a guy like Singler either, but I think this is a good opportunity to get a little more athletic (or in Williams case, add an interior presence).

I like Kenneth Fairead, he has a talent that translates from college to the NBA. He is an athletic rebounder, who plays very good defense. Probably not an all star but a sure fire NBA player.

I also like Tristan Thompson from Texas, he's an athletic big with a strong base that runs the floor and can finish at the rim.

While I realize they could both be healthy Powe or Baby-type contributors, I really want a full-sized PF.  I had enough of Gody last year.
Powe and Baby are both 6'7. I believe Thompson and Fariead are 6'9.

Reggie Jackson - 6 foot 4 SG with a 7 foot wingspan.  Great athlete, can drive the ball and is a nock down shooter.  Also happens to be from BC.  with his wing span and athleticism he has the potential to be a lock down defender, unfortunately defense was never something the BC stressed

I will be interested to see the official measurements on him (as well as many others).  If he really is that big, and can play off the ball, then I think he would be interesting.  Of course, if he does measure big, I also expect him to be long gone when the C's pick.

MY realistic wish list for the Cs pick is as follows

1. Reggie Jackson
under sized 2 but like rondo22 said he has great length and can shoot, hope he measures at least 6'2 w/out shoes

2. Faried
Would be a give great energy off the bench, will be great rebounder, however wont be a great man defender in nba but hustle can make up for alot

3.  Travis Leslie
2 guard/ SF SUPER athletic shannon brown/pre injury Tony allen type wing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBKyoSBEAnQ

4. Charles Jenkins
physical 1/2 guard (height will be big with him cant be 6' w/out shoes), great scorer/shooter

5.  Jeremy Tyler
loads of potential (possible most in draft) but who knows how much of it can be tapped, if the Cs keep the big 3 together then i say bring in tyler and let him develop with greatness around him, if we try for a quick rebuild this season then he will get lost in the shuffle. Needs to be drafted, kept with team first half of season to learn then spend 2nd half in D-league

6. Justin Harper / JaJuan Johnson
both good sized PFs (intersted to see measurments) Johnson is better over all but Harper is better shooter

Trade the pick.

for what? not to many teams are going to be trying to get in the end of the second round of this draft. Better of doing what danny does best find the next, TA, Gnomes, powe, delote,Perk or BBD who can help us down the road either as a player or trade bait

Trade the pick.

No one wants it.

I could see them get a Euro to stash with it however.  It would give them an extra roster spot to fill with NBA players.

Ya I will be interested to see how he measures out too, I expect he will measure it at around 6 foot 3 to be honest.  but who knows.  I know Chad Ford expects him to skyrocket in this draft after some workouts.

They played much better defense in the second half of the season. His defense could be very good but he gambles too much.

I watched the majority of BC games this year. I like Reggie a lot and think he will be a good player, However:
1. He probably will look great in drills and his stock will soar, meaning he won't be there when we pick.
2. Do we really want to pick a combo guard for the second year in a row?
3. His biggest problem is floating through games, when teams would deny him the ball and double him he would just give up. His lack of assertiveness reminds me of Jeff Green. However, I guess you're not looking for him to be the main offensive option.

Just an observation on Jackson, it looks like he torched the bad teams, but against the good teams with NBA prospects he really struggled.  In his two games against UNC he shot 2-10 and 5-19.  Against Duke he shot 3-11.  He scored 18 against Wisconsin but shot 6-21.
do it

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I dunno about the first pick, but if the Celtics man up and buy an early second round pick, I'd love Kyle Singler.

Because the Celtics do not need an extra contract on the books in 2012 for  a player not likely to provide much in 2011.

I think Jeremy tyler is someone who Ainge has his eye on. Big kid with great potential and could come into an ideal situation and learn from the best. Plus everyone here knows how much Ainge loves great high school  players.

And if we go wing, than I like Marshon Brooks or Travis Leslie
