I missed the Chris Paul vs Derrick Rose matchup this season.

Very much looking forward to seeing it next year to see where those two stand head-to-head.

What's even more impressive is that CP3 is basically playing on one leg (or knee).

Paul yes..Rose no...Hopefully Rondo can dish dimes like CP3...that is what a true PG does...get the whole team involved...not just yourself.

It's just too bad for Aaron Gray and the Hornets it looks like he perhaps broke his leg or tore something you guys see that? I didn't catch the replay to see if it was dirty or what I wouldn't doubt anything with them Fakers though.

The big fella was huge in the upset.

Gray stepped on Kobe's foot. The tandem of Bynum and Bryant strike again. Ironically same situation as Perkins. Bynum behind the guy, then Kobe somehow taking out the legs. It's amazing how two years in a row they manage to take out a big man who played a significant role in beating the Lakers.

Pretty sure he landed on Bynum's foot - ESPN says it was Gasol but I don't think he was that close to the play.  It was a clean play regardless - just one of those things that happens.

Anyway, Williams is calling it a mild ankle sprain, so it looks like there's no ligament damage or anything.  He should be back sometime soon, maybe even for Game 2.

I hope he hasn't torn anything. He really stepped up in this game.

Besides CP3 pulling the pants of Gasol, I really enjoyed watching Jarrett Jack. He just took over and the Hornets offense didn't skip a beat. And when CP3 came back in the game, Jack just as easily took over the sg position.

Sorry for misinterpreting - it's hard to tell who's serious with these things because there are people here that would honestly believe that both plays were intentional.   

Anyway, it looks like the injury isn't too bad, which is a relief.  Gray will be a key factor in the series, and the Hornets stand a much better chance if he scores like he did tonight.

OKC has tons of talent... but the Nuggets are the better team. Any George Karl team has a chance to be great, they always lacked the killer instinct.

They are playing better now, and as much as I love Perk, his team will have a hard time in getting past the Nuggets.
