OKC has tons of talent... but the Nuggets are the better team. Any George Karl team has a chance to be great, they always lacked the killer instinct.

They are playing better now, and as much as I love Perk, his team will have a hard time in getting past the Nuggets.

I think it will be a good series but I think Thunder will take it.

Thunder may have the best HCA in the league.
OKC doesnt have a 3rd scorer unless Harden steps up

Not to mention Denver has a pretty nasty HCA themselves.

A barrage of long jump shots from Kevin Durant. A shooting exhibition.

It's a joy to watch Durant and Gallinari shoot the basketball. Incredible shooters.

The inestimable Kendrick Perkins has 2 pts, 3 reb, and 1 block on 1-3 shooting.  He also has 2 turnovers and 2 fouls.

I'll take Jermaine, thanks.

Can Oklahoma beat San Antonio in the next round?

I'd love to see them take on the Lakers in the Conference Finals.

Not for nothing...and this is not just spoiled grapes...but Perkins looks *really* slow tonight.

I don't think so.  I like San Antonio's discipline over OKC's double threat of Westbrook and Durant.  I think the Thunder would have a great chance against the Lakers, though.

I'd rather see Wilson Chandler out there instead of JR Smith.

More size, more defense, more rebounding and better decision making offensively. JR Smith is too vulnerable defensively against Kevin Durant. Smith is too small to properly contest Durant's jump shot.

Rumors of Nene's demise have been greatly exaggerated.

I'd like to see Denver go with Gallo and Chandler at their forward spots alongside Nene here. With the two point guards in the backcourt. Spread the floor out and run pick and rolls with Nene. Find the shooters.

Especially if Oklahoma is going to keep Collison on the floor.

I don't think Denver should be going big here (with Kenyon at PF) ... they should go smaller (with Gallo at PF) and create the mismatch.

Yeah, it's a good thing the Thunder have the best low post defender in the league to keep him in check ::)

I didn't like Nene's screen for Gallo there. Should have picked Durant on the opposite side. There wasn't enough room along the sideline for a player of Gallo's athleticism to get around the screen plus beat Nene's man to the baseline. He was always going to get trapped there. Poor decision.

Bad call on the offensive interference.

And it's early, but it looks like Gallinari may have some playoff confidence issues.
