Great game by CP3 - gun player. Excellent back up provided by Jarrett Jack too.

Hornets take Game 1!

after Rose's performance yesterday and Paul's today, the bar has been set for Rondo

Paul yes..Rose no...Hopefully Rondo can dish dimes like CP3...that is what a true PG does...get the whole team involved...not just yourself.

Great game by the Hornets and a great win.  Love to hear my fellow fairweather fans booing in LA.

Hope Gray can recover soon - he's not the most athletic guy, but you can't coach size and he really seems to be putting it together mentally.

Lakers defense got torched. Fisher is a huge chink in their armor.

What happened to Aaron Gray?

Landed on Bynum's foot and turned his ankle pretty sharply.  It's a bad sprain at minimum.

What happened to Aaron Gray?

He was holding his shin, and they had to carry him out, as he couldn't put any pressure on it ... looked like an ankle injury, and a pretty serious one ... he was in a lot of pain.

What a game by CP3! Crazy. He made a ton of clutch shots.

Great win for NO, I don't think they can keep it up for the entire series especially without Gray (of course in their misfortune the Lakers still catch a break with Gray's injury...) but man it's great to see L.A lose at home in game 1. Now a Celtics win against NY would be great to close the day!

  • Thank you Eddie!
If the Celtics win in a blowout tonight, should I feel more confident since every other contender either lost or almost lost?  Does it even mean anything?

CP3 is the best PG in the league. Not Derrick Rose.

Agreed.  Rose is a SG playing at PG, basically . . . making him the 2nd or 3rd best SG in the league.

Preaching to the choir here.  Although his jumper usually doesn't fall as well as it did today.
