Literally a last second ankle injury from Rose.  Was that the same ankle he twisted against Indy?

Monster game from Joe Johnson.  Carlos Boozer continues to disappoint.

I'm feeling a throb of hometown pride for the Hawks.  Statement win for them, and boy could they use a taste of the ECF for their trouble. Still, wish I liked the players enough to cheer for them rather than against the other team.

Why hasn't the Lakers-Mavs game started yet?

Looking at the stat line:

Derrick Rose took 27 shots and only had 24 points. That's even worse than Westbrook who was criticized heavily during the Nuggets series for a 30 shot 30 pt game (fairly, I may add), but I doubt that D. Rose will get that same level criticism. I mean I know that Westbrook has more options than Rose so he should defer more than Rose should, but a league MVP needs to take smart shots and make them.

The only really substantive difference between Westbrook and Rose (other than their jerseys and teammates) is the media storyline surrounding them.

Westbrook actually has less options than Rose.

Mavs looking outmatched across the board and Kobe setting the tone being aggressive I hope Paul comes out the same way tomorrow

Edit: well they are hitting 3's which has them now ahead

Very very good point
To me they are essentially the same player. Shooting guards who play the point who are better as a second option

It's a shame Dallas has to start DeShawn Stevenson.  One of the worst starters on any playoff team this year.

Well I meant more, Westbrook has the #1 scorer on his team. Rose has more options as far as quantity, but there's not a Durant on his team.

Jason Kidd is so intelligent at intercepting passing lanes against the Lakers

Truly one of the best. Was a joy watching all of his games when he played in NJ for the Nets

Mavericks can't beat a half-hearted Lakers effort. By all indication Lakers are heading back to the finals 4th straight time.
