Baseball is way more interesting when both teams play like they really want to win.  Seems like a playoff game tonight.  Hopefully the Sox have figured it out that they have to ratchet it up a notch or two in September/October.

Wow.  That was a pretty awesome play by Longoria.

Sucks for the Sox, but that was a sweet play in the clutch.

yup...they made it to Pap (assuming they don;t tack on a bunch of runs in the 8th).  Pap hasn't had a save chance in about a month.  He's got to be hungry.

Honestly, at this point, if they cough this one up tonight they are in legit deep poo-poo.

I have faith though!

Yeah playoff baseball and the pennant races in September are pretty awesome!

Redz quick question...  Whats the main talk been back in New England Pats or Sox right now?  I haven't been able to listen to EEI or 98.5 as much since I'm away down at school.

A lot of both.  I'd say about 60/40 Pats though.  Felger and Mazz have been on the Sox pretty hard to show some heart.

That's what it seemed like to me.  I can defintely see Felger and Mazz being on the Sox about having to show soem heart.

  • Rondo = Good
I've come to the conclusion that the Red Sox are just really bad against the Rays, for whatever reason.  Gotta hope they win the vast majority of their remaining games which are not against the Rays.

I cant believe Price is still pitching after being hit in the chest by a line drive.  Struck out A. Gonzalea, too!

He just went back to the clubhouse to be checked.  I think (hope) his day is over.
