I know its frustrating, but getting a 2012 first rounder, and a second rounder this year for the 28th pick is great value, and they pick again in just a couple slots.
how many years do we get sold this though?
not to quote felger, but he's right on this, all that trading down for great value and stockpiling picks is kinda counter productive if you never use that value to take a shot/ miss when you do (which bill does, more often than not).
See: patriots draft classes, 2004-2009. got a ton of value picks, told that next year it would pay off, and no ones left from those other picks except mayo, a pick they didn't trade down.
2010 they hit on these value picks + mccourty
I know we all go nuts for value, but money in the bank thats never used doesn't help.
