and twitter exploding too.

count me as
a. Skeptical
b. worried if it goes through (defense still quite suspect, we need our offense to score lots of points to win, and moss still draws double teams consistently; i think we'd really miss him, and does Brady want to lose him?)

On the flipside, he's a complainer and on the decline (how'd he miss that TD to end the 1st half?)

Hopefully it's because it's a deal too good to be true in order for desperate Minny to keep Favre happy so he doesn't retire at the bye week.

Berrian and Jared Allen!! (I wish)

Hopefully it's NOT because Moss told the Pats to extend him or trade him because he was going to start making a major fuss.

And hopefully it's none of this "2014 First Rounder" stuff...you can only stockpile for so long before your All-Pro HOF QB, your single greatest advantage, fastest QB ever to 100 wins, is too old to play with the stockpiled assets anymore.

Unless the Vikings are willing to pay a price the Pats can't refuse, I'm scratching my head a bit on why the Pats would do this at this particular moment.

Twitter. I happened to check (as I'm studying on my computer) just as Simmons was tweeting apologies for publicly tweeting something from his blackberry that was meant for private direct messaging.

Now, I don't trust him as a source (and in fairness to him, he was NOT trying to publicize this as legit), but I was surely curious, did a google search, and at first found Simmons' twitter as the only source then saw that Glazer (whose name sounded familiar...he works for FoxSports, so is fairly legit) seemed to have a little more detailed info.

As much as I can't stand the guy, Glazer is pretty decent at pumping out NFL info.

I wouldn't mind a 2011 1st rounder. We'd be stacked in the upcoming draft, and have the hard cap space to replace Moss through free agency. Plus, if he's going to be gone after this season anyway, then why not? Brady has proven he doesn't need a clear cut #1 receiver to win.

Interesting note: Moss had 0 catches last night. I'm betting he's not too happy about putting up a donut.

I wanna throw up.  This guy has put up unprecedented numbers since joining the pats.  Unless we get some defensive re-enforcements that will make an immediate impact im very nervous.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Trust Bill and the Pats organization.  They wouldn't be doing this unless it was the perfect deal.
