PG: Tyreke Evans
SG: Anthony Morrow
SF: Corey Brewer
PF: Kevin Love
C: Andray Blatche

We know Blatche is immature.  Now there are reports that Evans is also immature and his team, the Kings, enabled him to be that.

Both have alot of talent.  How do you finally adjust their attitudes?

PG: Jason Kidd
SG: Rip Hamilton
SF: Tayshaun Prince
PF: Dirk
C: Marcin Gortat

I am quite happy with my team.  Leading the team on Offense we have one of the 10 best Pg's of all time who always fills up the stat sheets.  Most importantly he averaged 9 Assists last year.

We Liked Rip at the two guard spot because of his midrange game and Defense. With Kidd, Prince, and Dirk on the team we felt like we had a ton of 3 point shooting so we wanted to get somebody to diversify the offense who is also a great passer and we got that with rip.  Also, With Kidd being a bit of a defensive liability on opposing PG's.  We like that Rip is quick enough to defend PG's and Kidd was actually a very effective defender against SG's last year.

We Love having a guy of Prince's character on the team at our starting SF.  He is an efficient scorer as well as great defender and Passer.  With a guy like Dirk on the team we want guys that can score without dominating the ball and Prince fits the bill.

Im not sure i even need to write about dirk but any time you have a legit 7 footer who scores 25 a game you gotta have him on the floor.  He can score the ball in so many ways hes is almost impossible to stop on the offensive end.

Gortat is our second 7 footer and a great fit for our team.  He is a very mobile rebounder and defender who we think is a great fit next to Dirk.  We here have all seen what he can do in the playoffs and im quite happy to have him on the team.

Overall we think this is one of the best starting 5's in the league and im excited to see how I can fill out the rest of the roster

I love your backcourt. Hill is a perfect compliment to Wade's game where Wade can have the ball in his hands but if he is doubled still has a very good, smart PG to pass off to that can also shoot. Defensively that backcourt is very good.

Problem with Hill is his age and ability to only be effective about 25-28 MPG. You need a really good backup SF or else Hill will get overused and become ineffective.

Upfront you have the potential to be defensively spectacular or non-existent. Oden has missed two entire years out of three in the pros. That doesn't even equate to injury prone. That equates to fragile. Not a good trait in you big guy. I mean I have Bynum and when you compare Oden to Bynum, Bynum looks like an ironman.

Martin is a great defensive PF but he is a head case and can take himself out of games and even seasons mentally.

Potential: Best team in the league to barely making the playoffs if Oden and Martin don't pay off.

Reality: One of the better teams in this league

I will say about your team what I said about, and was kind of correct about, last year's CrotorNats. I see game degradation and age starting to play a major factor with this team this year. I can see Kidd, Rip, Prince and Dirk taking backwards steps both physically and in their overall, all around game. For that reason, while they look like a talented team based on reputation, I see a team that is playoff good and 1st round exit probable.

Of course, last year's CrotorNats won it all and I think you are a great GM at selling your team, so this team should very deep into this year's playoffs. This team to me just reminds me of the real life Mavericks over the last half decade or so. Very very good on paper. In reality, less than spectacular. I'm not sure if I'm describing that right, but that's what I see.

I'll list my team after this round for analyzing, when I do, I request everyone listen to Immature's "We Got It" so you can fully understand my vision.

Very young and very talented. kevin Love has made me a huge fan of his and Morrow is my man. He's just an unreal shooter and pretty decent rebounder for his position. Sorry but I see Evans as a SG, much like Monta Ellis. I think he would thrive with a real PG and him in the SG position and bringing Morrow off the bench to team with Evans in smaller spurts.

I am a fan of Blatche's physicality and game and hate his brain. I just am not 100% sure he gets any better that great in flashes because he is a moron.

Team of the Future is definitely within your grasp. I don't see a playoff team here without some veteran leadership and guidance.

The talent and potential, though, is undeniable

I'll throw the Nyets into the fire.

PG-Aaron Brooks
SG-Andre Iguodala
SF- Hedo Turkoglu
PF-Hakim Warrick
C- Nene Hilario
I really don't know what to make of this team. Your guards and SFall need the ball in their hands to be effective offensively. Warrick is a bad fit for this team unless he's coming off the bench. I big strong defensive minded PF to put next to Nene would be much better fit, IMHO. otherwise, you are leaving your entire interior defense in the hands of Nene and while he's pretty good, he can't do it alone.

I don't see the playoffs in your future. But that is just my opinion and it's still really early in the game.

I haven't done a full analysis, but some of the "win now" teams that I like the best (in no particular order):

Toronto
New York
Milwaukee
Chicago
Atlanta
Washington
Utah
Sacramento
Dallas

Obviously, some of these assessments will change drastically in the coming rounds.  For instance, I think Sacramento will probably end up falling in my rankings, because of their lack of future draft picks.  Chicago could potentially drop out due to the thinness of their roster, although their top-two talent is tough to beat.

Some of the borderline teams, that I think could contend if they make good trades or find excellent value later on:

Miami
Indiana
Denver
Phoenix
LA Clippers
Golden State
Houston

Then, there are a lot of very talented rosters, where I just don't necessarily like some of the key pieces (for instance, Boston, Cleveland, Orlando, etc.)  These are the "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" types of teams, where I can't see my mind changing, but others could really like their team.

If I was forced to pick, after a *very* cursory analysis, I'd say my Finals picks right now would be Atlanta and Utah.

What do people think of this team so far?

PG: Kirk Hinrich
SG: JJ Redick
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Elton Brand
C: Anderson Varejao

6th: Mehmet Okur (he may start at Center)

I think we have good flexability with our frontline. Being able to hit outside shots, and we have a defender who can guard PF or C and do the little things.

We have the 3pt threats with Redick and Okur, right now Hinrich as the PG is a big PG who can guard 2's and when this team gets another PG can slide over and play the two.
I also think this is a very level headed team.

Would like to hear peoples thoughts.

Kwhit like your team but I think a lot depends on how much Elton Brand has left in the tank. If you get LA Brand or even half of that you'll be fine. If it's Philly Brand, you're hurting a wee bit. Then again Varejao can play the 4 and you can pick up a defensive center.  Just my two cents.

I almost think you'd be better off doing what Philly does in real life:  bring Brand off the bench.

I'd like to see a lineup of:

C: Okur
PF: Varejao
SF: Durant
SG: Redick
PG: Hinrich

Brand has lost a bit of his mobility, and has added a lot of bulk.  Against mobile starting forwards, I think he'd struggle a bit, but against backup bigs and most centers, he'd excel.

The question mark I have, I guess, is whether Durant and Redick are good enough defensively on the wings.  I could see you sliding Hinrich over to SG a lot, and maybe bringing in more of a penetrating point guard.

As I said above, I have your team coming out of a *very* strong Eastern Conference right now.  Plenty of things can change, but I love your foundation.

LeBron James, Amare Stoudemire, Emeka Okafor.

3 guys, already the best team.
I beg to differ....... Three Martinis a beer and I can't even remamber how many kettle one tonics and limes. but My team would run all over yours!!!!!

CLEVELAND CAVS :

PG: Monta Ellis
SG:Caron Butler
SF: Carmelo Anthony
PF: Jason Thompson
C : Joel Pryzbila
As I said about Tyreke Evans, I think Monta Ellis is better served as a SG with a true PG feeding him. Otherwise, both players work really hard to make themselves great and better but not the rest of his team.

The shooting ability here is some of the best in the league. And if healthy, I love Przybilla as your center. I had him as my center last year and, I have to warn you, got little love for that decision and he was healthy. This year he isn't healthy. II think Thompson is a talent just really young and I think he bounces back with a great year.

Definite playoff team though I might draft or trade for a pass first PG, move Evans to SG and Butler off the bench as your sixth man to sub for both Anthony and Evans. Do that and get another good defensive minded rebounding center to platoon with Przybilla and you could go very far.

Yea Brand is definitely the question mark on what type of production I will get.  Even if I can get 15/7 out of him I think that would be pretty good.  But that's why I love my flexability, I can play Brand, Okur and Varejao at center and Brand and Varejao can play PF depending on the matchup.

Also defensive wing and penetration are targets for the upcoming rounds.
