He's 24, Love is 22, Jefferson is 25.

Deng is an excellent wing defender and like I said is having a massive year right now. Adjusted +/- has him at +17 because he's a very effective offensive and defensive player.

He missed his deadline

I thought I read where Mr Hobbs said you could pick at your time if the other team missed their deadline

Heck of a pick there, if the new Zach Randolph is going to stick around awhile.  There's always the risk of him reverting now that he's back in NYC, though.

I'm assuming the times listed are PM, right? And we can't pick until the previous person on the list? Please accept my apologies ... I have never played fantasy or fantasy-type sports, so I'll do my best to not muddy the waters, but a small bit of guidance may be required from time-to-time to help me through my ignorance. Thanks to all in advance! ;)

Yes, the times are PM.

You can pick at one of two times:  a) When the person in front of you picks; or b) When the person in front of you is late on their pick.  In your case, celticsclay -- who picks immediately before you -- must make his pick by 8:20pm.  If he doesn't, you can make yours at 8:21pm.

If you miss a pick, you will be "skipped", and can make your pick at any time.  (I'd encourage people not to miss picks, of course, especially in the first round.)

Let me know if this makes sense.  Since he's got the #1 pick, TruckLewis can pick at any time now.  Once he does, Evantime34 can pick, even if he's technically not due up at that point.

Looks that way --- you're right PLamb you can pick once another GM has missed their 10-minute window, as can all subsequent GMs <cough> Lucky.  ;)

Go ahead steal my pick ..... ugh.

I'm stunned someone missed their turn.  Good for you for pouncing.  I had Randolph as a stretch at this point but good for you.

What happens to the GSW slot now?

I like this pick. Deng was certainly near the top of my board. He has an injury history and his contract is unwieldy but there's nothing else to dislike. Better than any swing on the actual Timberwolves. And he's good in the locker room too.

Minnesota is going to be tough on the glass.

I recognize a reverse jinx attempt when I see one.

My pick is due in ~35 minutes, yes? If so, I'll field offers for anyone looking to move up. I have a selection in mind, however, so I am happy to pick here.
